Meet Maxine Maxine is a 5-year-old Belgian Malinois who came to us from an overcrowded shelter, and like many dogs of her breed, the shelter environment has been tough on her. Malinois are incredibly intelligent, active, and sensitive dogs who thrive with structure and purpose—something that’s hard to find in a kennel. Because of that, Maxine would truly benefit from finding her forever home as soon as possible. Since arriving with us, Maxine has already shown just how adaptable and sweet she is. She’s settled in nicely and has calmed down significantly, allowing her loving personality to shine through. This girl is an absolute sweetheart who adores squeaky toys, lives for a good game of fetch, and will happily do just about anything for a tasty treat. Maxine does well meeting new people, though she may bark a bit at first as she figures things out. Once she knows you’re a friend, she warms up and is eager to connect. Important Adoption Information: Maxine will only be adopted to applicants with approved applications, and homes must be appropriate for her breed and needs. Belgian Malinois require experienced, committed owners who understand their energy level, intelligence, and drive. Adopters will be carefully and thoughtfully hand-selected to ensure the very best fit for Maxine’s future.

Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training and grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters

Meet Tansy!! She came in as a stray on 10/10/26. We think she is about 5 years old. She is a gorgeous girl. She is not a fan of the leash so you need to be patient with her. This is not a breed for everyone so please do your homework. She will be a wonderful companion for an experienced adopter. She is available for adoption so hurry in to meet her!
