Story
Introducing Tiffany Biffany, a dog with a big personality and a big heart to match! Tiffany is an incredibly friendly pooch who gets along with just about anyone - dogs and humans. She's an intelligent girl who is always up for smelling around, and she's got oodles of energy and enthusiasm, which she's happy to channel into some fun activities. She's a quick learner who is always ready to impress her owners with new tricks and skills. She is house and crate trained and working on her leash skills. She loves getting any attention she can. In summary: Tiffany is pretty much the full package, and she's just waiting for the right person to come and take her home. Could that person be you? She is around 2 years old and 50 pounds. We think she is a mix between a cattle dog and a malinois. Interested in becoming a forever home for Tiffany? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $175. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
Maggie is so attached to her people! She is a typical German Shepherd and wants her person at her side. She absolutely loves attention and affection. She does amazing on leash and is well kenneled trained. She can scale any size fence or enclosure to be with her people! At her current home the fences are 6 foot and gates are 4 foot and she stays in her yard as long as she has a dog friend or her person but she should not be trusted outside alone. She loves to run and play with dog friends of all sizes and ages. She is very submissive if a friend tells her they are done playing, she will back off. THIS GIRL IS FULL OF ENERGY! We think she may have a touch of Malinois in her. She loves to bounce and run. She would be a fantastic running or hiking buddy. She loves to dunk in her bucket and play with her bowl so she might even be a fantastic lake girl. Maggie was brought to us from an amazing foster from another rescue who pulled her from the OKC shelter. She was very fearful and scared and first so she was very reserved and shy. With plenty of one on one handling and lots of love and affection she has learned that there are good people in the world and she wants nothing more than to give her little heart to one perfect person who will love her forever. She is very attentive to her surroundings and protects her yard with a loud scary bark. If you would like to come meet or adopt Maggie please visit our website for more information or to fill out an adoption application. She will steal your heart! www.shannonfarmz.org

Story
6-year-old neutered German Shepherd looking for the right home. I rescued him from a shelter after he was found roaming as a puppy. He is extremely smart, loyal, protective, and happiest when he has a job to do. He loves toys and tug-of-war and would do best with someone experienced with German Shepherds or working breeds. He has lived around other dogs and is not aggressive, though he can be a little dominant at times. He can also be cautious around some men at first. He has always been very gentle and loving with my 8-month-old son. I want to be transparent that he needs more time, structure, and training than I can currently provide. He also strongly dislikes the vet and is behind on vaccines because visits have become difficult. This is not an easy decision. I love this dog deeply and want him to go to a great home that understands the breed and can give him the attention and purpose he deserves.
