🐾 Meet Bruno!
Bruno is a handsome 1-year-old German Shepherd weighing 62 pounds, and this smart, energetic boy is ready to find a family of his very own! Bruno is the kind of dog who wants to be involved in everything. He is playful, affectionate, eager to please, and always ready for his next adventure.
Bruno loves to play! Ball and fetch are two of his favorite activities, and he thinks searching for hidden treats is a pretty fantastic game, too. But if you really want to make Bruno happy, add some water! 💦 This boy absolutely loves to swim and has enjoyed everything from lakes and swimming pools to kiddie pools. He would make an excellent companion for a family looking for a four-legged swimming and adventure buddy.
Bruno isn't just a fun-loving guy — he's also a very smart student. Since going into foster care, he has really blossomed and shown just how much potential he has. He is learning skills like heel and leave it, along with a variety of household commands and expectations. Bruno catches on quickly and enjoys figuring out what his people are asking of him. Training gives him a job to do, and he loves the challenge of learning something new, especially when it's paired with positive reinforcement.
As a young German Shepherd, Bruno has plenty of energy and enthusiasm to share. He would love an active family or individual who will continue his training, provide plenty of exercise and enrichment, and include him in their daily adventures. He isn't looking for a life spent lounging on the couch — Bruno wants to play, learn, explore, and be part of the action!
Bruno may enjoy living with a playful, compatible canine companion, provided they are a good match. He could also happily be the only dog in the home, where he can be his person's devoted adventure buddy and best friend.
Bruno has come a long way in foster care, and it has been wonderful to see him grow into the goofy, enthusiastic, and eager-to-learn dog he is today. He has the brains, energy, and big personality to become an incredible companion — he just needs someone who will continue to guide him and give him plenty of opportunities to shine.

All of our dogs and puppies go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (for dogs 7 months and older). They are also up to date on core vaccines, as well as heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Each adoption includes a 3.5-pound bag of dog or puppy food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
