Story
Veera is a very sweet and curious 6-month-old female Malinois, she is happy to meet people and other dogs. She has been introduced to cats and is socially adapted to people. Medium drive, food driven, somewhat interested in toys, eager to learn. Overall she is relaxed and easy-going in temperament (for a Malinois). When new people are introduced her first reaction is to happily greet and get up close. With new dogs she exhibits curiosity and joy as well as some slight caution (submissive). ##2867258##

Story
Meet Colt! Colt is a goofy, lanky Malinois who’s still growing into his long legs and has plenty of puppy energy to spare! He’s discovering more about the world every day, and his personality is really starting to shine. After settling into his foster home, he’s started bringing toys out of the basket, enjoying backyard zoomies with his two female Husky foster sisters, and showing off his silly side. He also has a softer side and loves curling up on the couch with his people or his canine companions. Bonus points if there are belly rubs involved! Colt is doing well on leash and enjoys taking his time to sniff every mailbox along the way. He’s smart, eager to please, and responds well to praise and training treats. He’s still working on his manners, including keeping all four paws on the floor when he gets excited, and continuing to build consistency with his basic obedience. He’s a quick learner who will benefit from a family ready to keep his mind engaged and help him grow into the best version of himself. Colt is also a great little adventure buddy who loves riding in the Jeep and watching the world go by. He’s generally house-trained, sleeps comfortably in the bedroom with his foster family and their dogs, and is learning to settle into a routine. He can struggle when left alone and is still working through some separation anxiety, but he’s making progress with patience and consistency. This clever boy has already figured out how to pull a rope to open a door, so his future family should be ready for a smart Malinois who likes to figure things out for himself! Colt would love a home that appreciates the intelligence, energy, and personality that come with the breed while giving him the structure, training, exercise, and affection he needs to thrive. He has so much potential, and he’s ready to find someone who will help him continue learning while making plenty of room for playtime, adventures, and couch cuddles.
