Story
Diesel was rescued from an abandoned home that was covered in garbage, feces, and urine. He was underweight when he first came to us. He loves to play fetch and cuddle. He is high energy and needs someone that can keep up. He knows a few commands: sit, stay, and come. Walks well on a leash and not prone to running off. As far as his breed is concerned, I used my best guess based on Google image searches, I'm not 100% sure what his breed is

Story
Meet Blitz | 2-Year-Old German Shepherd Blitz is the kind of dog who makes friends wherever he goes — the gentle, loyal type who just wants to belong. This handsome 2-year-old German Shepherd came to us as a stray alongside his Malamute buddy, Fizzy. When Blitz arrived, he was noticeably skinny, likely having put others before himself when it came to food. It’s a quiet detail that says a lot about who Blitz is at his core: kind, selfless, and deeply good-natured. Blitz can be a bit cautious at first, taking time to read his surroundings and the animals around him. With other dogs, he tends to be submissive and respectful, making him an excellent companion for homes with friendly, well-mannered pups. Once he realizes he’s safe, his playful side comes out — and when it does, it’s pure joy. He loves to play, interact, and share happy moments with both dogs and people alike. What truly sets Blitz apart is his capacity for connection. He has that rare quality where you can tell he’s paying attention to you — watching, learning, quietly offering companionship without asking for anything in return. He’s the kind of dog who will sit beside you, match your energy, and become your shadow in the best way possible. Blitz is still learning that he doesn’t have to be cautious anymore — that food will always come, kindness is consistent, and he doesn’t have to shrink himself to be loved. With patience, reassurance, and a stable routine, he will continue to blossom into the incredible dog he’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, a gentle playmate, and a best friend who will choose you every single day — Blitz is ready to be that dog.  If you think you would be my perfect forever home, my friends would love to hear from you!  Contact them at: info@handsnpawswa.org  Health & Safety  All our animals are: Microchipped Up to date on vaccines Dewormed and flea treated Spayed/neutered and given rabies shots (if age appropriate) FELV/FIV testing available upon request (at adopter’s expense)  Where to Find Me  Our pets are located in foster homes, Hands 'N Paws Othello Shelter, or at PetSmart in Union Gap.  Adoption Process First come, first served unless a hold is placed Holds require a $25 non-refundable fee per pet or full adoption fee Holds last up to 7 days After 7 days, unclaimed pets and fees are considered donations  Adoption Fees  Listed under each pet’s photo on their biography page. ##2613234##
