Meet Vanilla Bean (A564368), a gentle soul looking for a soft place to land. This sweet girl is on the timid side and truly comes alive when she is outside. It seems likely she spent much of her life outdoors, because being in the yard brings her so much peace. If you sit with her, she will slowly work her way over to give quiet kisses, then go back to sniffing and exploring like the curious little lady she is.Vanilla Bean walks well on leash and absolutely loved spending time outside, especially when hot dogs were involved. Those did not stand a chance. She can pancake if someone stands up too quickly or leans over her, so she will need a patient, understanding person who moves at her pace and lets trust build naturally.Vanilla Bean has not yet been tested with other dogs, but she has shown herself to be very kind and gentle, just shy. She would likely do best in a calmer, quieter home, possibly with older adults or a low key environment where she can relax and feel safe. With time, patience, and kindness, Vanilla Bean has all the potential to become a loyal companion who just wants to enjoy the simple things in life.Vanilla Bean is guesstimated to be 3 years old and weighs 60 lbs.
