Meet Peter!Peter came to us recently from a southern rescue partner. He spent some time in a foster home while receiving some vet care and when he was ready, he made the long trek to PCHS in hopes of finding his forever home. Peter is an athletic dog that has a lot of energy. He would do well with an active family that can take him on adventures with them. He seems to enjoy being around people and spending time outside in our yards. He is not a fan of the kennel or smaller spaces, so he would likely prefer to be a free roaming dog in his forever home. If you are looking for a loyal companion to take on adventures this summer, look no further and apply on Peter today!Adoption fee is $350 + $30 microchip fee + tax

This handsome fella was found in Rochester a few months back with his friend, Judy. Judy and Nick were both adopted into homes, but unfortunately Nick`s adopter ran into some life changes and he was unable to keep him. Nick is now looking for his forever home. He`s a great dog and can`t wait to have a family to love! He does well with female dogs, but he cannot live with other male dogs. If you think Nick is the one for you, apply online! *Any other dogs in home must meet prior to adoption**Adoption fee: $300 + $30 microchip fee + tax

Billy the Kid and Doc Holliday came to us from a valued reservation partner. First spotted on the side of the road in a very rural area, the rescuers went to retrieve them. When they arrived, the two dogs were nowhere to be found. Sightings and unsuccessful attempts at getting the dogs went on for ten days. Ten days spent with no shelter in this bitter cold spell we have been in. Finally, a team member who wasn’t searching just happened upon them and took them into safety. Doc and Billy were cold and thin, but alive. What a story of survival and rescue. They are not bonded. Both dogs have mellow, sweet personalities and are so friendly and smart. At just a year old, they are sure to make their respective adoptive families wonderful pets. Adoption fee $350 + $30 microchip fee + Tax
