Story
Hi, I’m Connor 🐾 I’m 1½ years old. I’m looking for a calm, patient forever home. I was rescued from a country road as a skinny, scared puppy, so I can be shy and nervous at first. When I’m afraid, I may bark or nip — I just need time to feel safe. I’m a slow burn, but once I trust you, I’m completely loyal and loving. I am very treat-motivated, which makes training with positive reinforcement a great way to help me continue building confidence. I respond best to patience, consistency, and kindness. Harsh corrections or raised voices only make me more afraid. I do best with women or very gentle, quiet people. I’d prefer to be the only pet and likely wouldn’t do well with kids. I require regular activity and stimulation. I love toys, bones, walks, running, cuddles, and watching squirrels from the window. I’m house broken, kennel trained, leash trained, and not food aggressive! With patience and positive reinforcement, I’ll be your devoted best friend. Please give me a chance 🤍
