Story
Meet Roxie! 🐾🖤
It is honestly surprising that Roxie hasn't found her forever home yet! She's the last remaining member of the Diva Litter, and while all of her sisters have headed off to their new families, Roxie is still patiently waiting for her turn.
At around 6 months old, this beautiful German Shepherd mix has fully bloomed in foster care! When Roxie first arrived, she was timid and unsure of the world around her. Since moving into a foster home, she's quickly acclimated to home life and has shown everyone what an incredibly sweet, loving girl she really is.
Roxie loves playing with other dogs and does wonderfully with cats. She's also very respectful of other dogs' boundaries—if another pup isn't interested in playing, Roxie is happy to back off and give them space. She loves snuggles, playing in water, and just being part of the family. 💦🐶❤️
She can still be a little shy in new surroundings, but once she has a chance to settle in and learn that she's safe, her happy personality comes right out. She's incredibly smart, too, and has been picking up commands and household manners quickly. She's getting the hang of potty training and making great progress, but isn't quite 100% there yet.
Roxie isn't a big fan of being kenneled and may protest at first, but she does tolerate it once she settles down. She also does well outside of the kennel.
Despite being a young shepherd, Roxie has a surprisingly calm, gentle side. At adoption events, she's often perfectly content relaxing beside her person, taking everything in and enjoying some cuddles and attention.
Roxie is fully vetted and ready to go home. She's sweet, smart, affectionate, dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and already proving what a wonderful companion she can be.
She's watched every one of her sisters find their families. Now it's Roxie's turn. 🥹❤️
Could you be the one she's been waiting for? 🐾
