Story
Meet Niko, a vibrant and playful Melanistic Bengal born on June 14, 2021. This high-energy feline is full of personality and loves to be involved in everything. From playful antics like opening cabinets and doors to affectionate snuggles on the couch, Niko will keep you entertained. He craves attention and thrives on interaction. While generally good with other animals, Niko may have some trust issues with female cats. He recently overcame some stress-related health concerns, including over-grooming issues, and requires a home that can provide ongoing support for his well-being. The ideal home for Niko would be with active owners who can provide plenty of playtime, interaction, and enrichment. A playful companion, such as another young male cat or kitten, would be a wonderful addition to his life. Access to cat trees, high spaces, scratching posts, and interactive toys is essential. All potential adopters must submit an online application at:  https://kneadingkittysrescueaz.com/atfoster-adoption-app  Following review of your application,  there will be an interview and in-person or virtual home visit to ensure a suitable match. You must reside in the greater Phoenix area, and also sign a contract confirming that he will be a family pet and not resold. Remember, Bengal cats are known for their high energy levels and playful personalities, inherited from their Asian Leopard ancestry. They require experienced cat owners who understand their unique needs. He is up to date on vaccines including rabies, tested negative for FELV/FIV, dewormed, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $600. February 13, 2025, 10:11 am
