Story
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat through our Owner Placement Program. We take no responsibility for the health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this.
Solo is NOT in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home, but residing with my current owner in San Francisco. Adoption fee applies.
Solo and Smokey MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions
Adopt these two sweet purebred Bengal brothers — Solo & Smokey ❤
These handsome, purebred Bengal boys will turn 8 years old on July 24th. They are bonded brothers who have been together their whole lives and truly adore each other (and their people).
Solo (the bigger brother at 21 lbs) is a big, affectionate “Man’s Cat” — super vocal and chatty, always nearby, and loves sleeping at your feet. He’s a total sucker for pets, face rubs, leg bumps, and brushing. If you’re a cat dad (or have one in the house), Solo will be especially thrilled.
Smokey is a bit more shy at first but warms up quickly with gentle attention. He’s also very vocal and gives the sweetest head bumps and rumbling purrs once he trusts you. He’s an amazing jumper and goes wild for the cat dancer toy!
Together, these boys are full of personality and fun. They love:
Their big cat wheel (they run on it regularly)
Tall cat trees and climbing posts with wall mounts
A huge variety of toys
Zoomies and playtime
They’re perfect in the litter box (using a large oversized box), and they drink from their running water fountain like pros.
Current setup & care:
Mainly on a high-quality dehydrated freeze-dried raw diet (rehydrated for meals) with a bit of freeze-dried kibble at night.
They thrive with vertical space, interactive play, and a consistent routine.
Their loving owner must relocate from the San Francisco area in early August due to a family tragedy and is heartbroken that they cannot take Solo and Smokey with them. Finding them a true forever home together is the top priority.
Because of their age and breed, preference will be given to experienced cat owners (ideally with Bengal experience) who understand the commitment these active, intelligent, and affectionate boys need — plenty of love, playtime, mental stimulation, quality nutrition, and vertical territory.
If you have the space, experience, and big heart to welcome these two sweet Bengals into your life, please reach out and tell us:
Why you think you’d be a great match for Solo & Smokey
What you can offer them ( space for catios, trees, wheels, play routines, etc.)
They deserve a wonderful next chapter with someone who will cherish their unique personalities and give them the enriched life they’re used to.
Serious inquiries only — these boys are not going to just any home. They’re going to a great one.
Solo and Smokey are ready to steal your heart — are you ready for two chatty, playful, loving Bengals? 🐾

If you believe you are a perfect adopter for Solo please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Pamela at cheemers@gmail.com or (707) 498-6578. If you are unable to reach Pamela please email info@purebredsplus.org.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
