Story
This gorgeous Bengal is Proxima and along with a beautiful coat and stunning eyes, she has a personality all her own! She can be a sassy little lady, but with a sweet side. She enjoys being petted and soaking up attention—but she’s also not shy about letting you know when she’s had enough! She has the playful, curious, intelligent, and energetic qualities Bengals are known for, wrapped up in a charming personality. Proximal is very stressed to find herself at the our shelter and does not always show her best side with new situations. But we are confident that in a home, she will fully relax and let only her sweet side shine through. Proxima has made it clear to us that she would prefer to be your one and only cat. Proxima had a dental cleaning with an extraction by our veterinarian and will likely need regular dental cleanings in the future. If you appreciate a cat with plenty of personality - a mix of a sass and sweetness - Proxima is your girl.

Story
I’ve had my Bengal since he was a kitten after getting him from a breeder in California, and he is now 7 years old. He has been a very loved part of my life, and for most of his life I worked from home, so he was used to having me around and getting lots of attention. He is extremely active, vocal, affectionate, playful, and loves being around people. Unfortunately, my work situation has changed and I now work at an office all day. Since being left alone for long periods, he has developed some separation-related behavior and will occasionally pee on the couch when I’m gone for extended periods. This is a very difficult decision because I love him, but I don’t feel it’s fair for him to spend so much time alone every day. I’m hoping to find him a loving home where someone can give him the companionship, attention, patience, and interaction he deserves. My priority is finding the right home where he can be happy and loved for the rest of his life.
