Story
Meet Mazzy Mazzy is a stunning silver Bengal beauty with a big personality and an even bigger heart. At approximately 2.5 years old, this energetic girl was rescued outdoors in early 2024 in Jacksonville, FL, where she was found in rough condition—underweight, missing patches of fur, and covered in fleas. Despite everything she’s been through, Mazzy has blossomed into a loving, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining companion. Mazzy is incredibly people-oriented and thrives on connection. She adores spending time with her humans—especially children—and happily follows them from room to room just to be part of the action. Whether it’s snuggling under a cozy blanket, chatting away in her signature yodels and meows, or playing an enthusiastic game of catch (yes, she can leap over 5 feet in the air!), Mazzy brings joy, laughter, and energy into every moment. She’s also impressively smart—she knows her name, comes when called, and even responds to simple commands. Mazzy loves interactive play, learning tricks, and being praised (a cheerful “Yay, Mazzy!” will absolutely make her day). The Perfect Home for Mazzy Mazzy is looking for a very special forever home where she can truly thrive. She must be the only pet in the household, as she does not do well with other animals. She is highly territorial and happiest when she can have all the love and attention to herself—something we completely understand given her past. Her ideal adopter will: Have prior cat experience (Bengal or high-energy breeds a plus!) Be home often or able to provide consistent companionship Be patient, playful, and ready for a lively, talkative companion Be committed to providing enrichment, attention, and love Agree to no declawing, ever Mazzy is not a low-maintenance cat—but for the right person, she will be an incredibly rewarding companion. She is loyal, affectionate, hilarious, and full of life. Think of her as a tiny, furry toddler with boundless curiosity and charm. If you’re ready for a one-of-a-kind feline friend who will keep you on your toes and fill your home with love (and conversation!), Mazzy might just be your perfect match. Apply to adopt Mazzy and give this special girl the forever home she deserves. Thank mew! ##2703006##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Yabba Dabba Doo! I'm Bam Bam! My name fits me perfectly. I'm a burst of kitty fluff, embodying all the qualities of a typical cat--loving, fun, surprising, unpredictable, cute, and playful.  I have a sweet face and a very striking target tabby coat. I can purr, meowww, and chirp, and I love being around people, too. I'm incredibly curious and enjoy observing your activities. I'm quite the character. When I'm not running around the house, looking for some mischief, or following you around and watching your every move, I will curl up on your lap and purr like crazy! If you're looking for hours of entertainment, don't wait: Fill out an application for me, BAM BAM, today! Estimated Birthdate: 8/26/2023 Likes: Looking for mischief, running around the house, and snuggling up for a nice nap. Dislikes: Other felines and those slobbery creatures called dogs. Volunteer Update:  When Bam Bam was younger he was a true mischief maker but has settled into quite the gentleman.  He gets along with everyone or just ignores them.  He is still quite energetic and likes to run off some of that energy every morning on the treadmill.  Whenever I visit the shelter, he always comes over and sits by me.  He likes it when I talk to him and loves getting petted.  He's not pushy and if another cat comes over he just walks away and gives them the space. To schedule a meet/greet with this pawsome kitty, we recommend that you complete a Pre-Adoption Application which is available here:   https://www.shelteringhands.org/adoptionapplication.
