Story
Nikkola is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian.Nikkola is a sweet cat, she's very playful and gets around well with humans. Unfortunately, I think she'd do better in a one cat household. Nikkola would benefit from a stimulating environment and lots of attention. She's indoor only but loves going for walks on a leash! She is quite gentle with people. She has not been around children although I assume she'd be fine. She is definitely housetrained. If you would like to inquire into adopting this pet, PLEASE EMAIL e.sandweiss@gmail.com***Please contact the owner directly***

Johnny Knoxville 🎬Some cats are good. Some cats are great. And then there’s Johnny Knoxville — the perfect cat. This big, handsome guy has it all: curiosity, brains, and a whole lot of heart. Johnny is the kind of cat who wants to know what you’re doing at all times. Cooking? He’s supervising. Cleaning? He’s inspecting. Opening a drawer? He absolutely needs to see what’s inside. He’s incredibly smart and picks up on routines quickly. But don’t worry — all that intelligence comes wrapped up in a very affectionate package. Johnny loves attention and isn’t shy about leaning in for pets, head bumps, and quality time with his people. He’s confident without being pushy, curious without being chaotic, and loving without being overwhelming. Truly a well-rounded, big-hearted boy who just wants to be involved in your life.If you’re looking for a cat who checks every box — handsome, social, clever, affectionate — Johnny Knoxville is ready to prove that perfection really does exist. 💛An adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt. Dog adoption fees are $200.00 for all puppies and adult dogs. Seniors are a donation of choice.Cats and kittens are minimum donation $50.00

Story
It’s with a heavy heart that I am looking to rehome my sweet bengal cat, Sheeba. She is nine years old and is having trouble adjusting to my one year old. I have another baby on the way and can no longer keep her because she refuses to leave my bedroom. She spends all her time hiding. She has always been very nice and bonded with me but she is timid and scared of my son and of our dog. She would be happiest in a home without dogs or children. She does get along well with my other two cats. She has no health issues and is declawed in the front. I need her to go to a home where she will be loved and not stressed.
