Story
With heavy hearts, we are searching for the perfect forever home for our beautiful bonded siblings, Jemma and Jasper (born 9/20/2023). They are a male/female pair of Cheetoh cats—a unique blend of Bengal and Ocicat—and because of their incredibly close bond, they must be adopted together. Jemma and Jasper are happy, healthy, spayed/neutered, and have had their first round of vaccinations. They are strictly indoor-only and fully litter box trained with no accidents or potty issues. They are not yet microchipped, so their future family may wish to do that. While they aren’t big fans of being picked up (they’ll tolerate it with a little grumble), they are very affectionate in their own way and love curling up in your lap. Jemma especially loves early-morning cuddles and will wake you up with sweet kitty kisses. • Talkative & Social – They love to “chat” and will often respond when spoken to. • Loyal Companions – Expect them to follow you from room to room just to be close. • Smart & Curious – These two are highly intelligent and love exploring every corner of their home. Jasper has even mastered opening lever-handle doors, so some kitty-proofing may be needed! • Energetic & Playful – They thrive on attention, play, and interaction. Jemma and Jasper do great with children but are not dog-friendly. They need an indoor-only home where they’ll have space to explore, play, and get plenty of love and engagement. As a high-energy hybrid breed, they are not your average house cats, so breed research is strongly encouraged. When we brought them home, our work schedules allowed us to be home much more often. Unfortunately, with recent job changes, we’re now working long hours outside the home and can’t give them the time and attention they deserve. Our greatest hope is to find them a loving, dog-free home where they can continue to thrive together and receive all the affection, enrichment, and companionship they need. If you think you might be the right fit for this special duo, please reach out. We are committed to finding them the best possible forever home.  Jemma and Jasper live in Beaverton with their family and their adoption fee is $300 for the pair.  Indoor only and breed knowledge is required. NOTE: Apartment life will not be suitable for these active cats. This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 1, 2026, 2:07 am

Story
Unfortunately, I am just not a cat person. Earl and Horchata are brothers and littermates. Nearly 2 years old with sweet dispositions. They must be adopted together. Hobbies: climbing to high places, wand toys, hanging out in windowsills, laser toysEnvironment: strictly indoors Temperament: They like to be scratched and pet, but only on their own time. These are NOT cuddly cats. Between the two, Horchata is much more skittish. Earl is more curious and will often be checking things out. He is more likely to jump on the couch with you. People/pets: cat friendly, dog friendly; older/gentle kid friendly Toileting: some litterbox issues previously, but this seems to have been remedied with different litter box setup and more frequent cleaning (at least once daily)
