Story
Nala (female) and Simba (male) must be adopted together. Very sweet and cute Bengal cats. Nala is blind- she has retinal degeneration and went blind just before she turned 1 year old. Other than the occasional bump into a cabinet while running, the blindness has not affected her abilities. Nala is still able to learn her surroundings and adjust to new environments. We have lived 3 places with her and she adjusts immediately. She has no fear despite being blind and still tries to sneak out doors. One time she was successful in getting out in 2019 and was hit by a car but survived. She had some dental surgery after the accident and is missing a few teeth. Most people can not believe she is blind as she functions just like any other cat. Simba can be shy at first but both cats are very lovey and like to sit or lay on you. They also love belly rubs. Unfortunately with 3 young kids, one of which is a new baby with health issues, we are no longer able to keep our fur babies.

Story
Mr. Toe “Beans” -DSH Bengal Male, ~18 mo. (Jun 2026) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Beans and his cat friends were abandoned in a small town in West Virginia when his owner moved out of their trailer. The trailer was then severely vandalized, and Beans stayed as he was born there as a kitten and didn’t know where else to go. Beans was rescued by a Bourbon County Rescue volunteer, and she soon realized he was very sweet and friendly and would do great in a loving home. Beans is an amazing, intelligent cat and has a friendly and curious demeanor. He is a beautiful, strong boy with silky soft fur. He has very large paws and will be a large cat when fully grown. Beans enjoys human and feline company, sitting on laps, and loves a good snuggle. See Beans on this video linked to this bio, and on the YouTube KYCatRescue Channel (https://youtube.com/shorts/Ol9UhwvdyBw?feature=share). Beans needs a safe home where he can live inside and enjoy his human! Beans’ adoption fee is $150 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com or an application. Please include your location and a phone number for future communication.

Story
Hades was given to me by a friend and he is a sweet boy, not a picker eater, likes to hangout with you and sunbath in your windows. He loves all high points, he absolutely adores other cats and is good with dogs but due to my dog age he is a little to rough with her so unfortunately I need to rehome him. He is litter box trained, doesn’t touch furniture at all, he is a little yappy when it comes to food time (he’ll let you know when it’s feeding time)
