Story
Fili is a 4-year-old, 22lb Mini Bernedoodle with a true zest for life. We are looking for an experienced dog owner to care for Fili. He is highly intelligent, potty-trained, crate-trained, and neutered. Fili is trainable and eager to please. He mastered "place/bed," fetch, basic commands, and fun tricks. Fili is affectionate and mirrors the energy of his home—he’s happy to nap near calm adults but loves a hike, run, or beach trip. He currently enjoys 1–1.5 hours of daily exercise. Fili is sometimes reactive on leash. Training and disengagement cues help to control it, but he can be triggered by some dogs or unexpected scenarios. Fili needs extra support in these moments. Fili is on a low-dose anxiety medication. He’s also an "adventurous" collector who happily trades "treasures" for high-value treats. Rehoming Fili is a difficult choice due to the birth of our son. He will thrive in an active, experienced home where he can be the priority.
