At 2½ years old and 24 pounds, he’s the perfect size for cuddles, adventures, and everything in between. Oreo came to AFC when his owner moved out of the country, and now he’s ready to start his next chapter with a forever family. He absolutely adores people and enjoys the company of other playful small to medium dogs. He could also do well with a large, gentle companion who respects his friendly nature. This smart little guy already knows “sit”—and he’s eager to learn more! With a little time and consistency, you could teach him commands like “stay,” “down,” “come,” and even fun tricks like “shake” or “roll over.” Oreo walks nicely on a leash, rides calmly in the car, and is housebroken when taken out on a regular schedule. He's been learning how to use a doggie door, he’s a bright boy and will pick it up in no time. We got Onyx from a family in central California in July of 2023 at 8 weeks old. He will be 3 in April, and has grown into quite the loving boy. We would love for him to be in a home with more space to run around, and with a family that loves a larger, high energy dog. Onyx is incredibly smart, he is a very fast learner and loves to learn new tricks. He is affectionate, attentive, and very very friendly.

We welcomed Teddy into our family 9 years ago as a puppy, and he’s been a loving, loyal companion ever since. He’s friendly, sweet, potty trained, and always happy to see us. Teddy knows commands like “sit,” “go to your bed,” and “go potty,” and he’s eager to please. As our kids have gotten older, busy schedules with work and activities mean Teddy is home alone more than he deserves. This has been a very hard decision, but we want him to have a family who can give him the time, love, and attention he thrives on. He’s great with people and kids—shy at first but warms up quickly. He’s an indoor dog and we’d like that to continue. He hasn’t been around other dogs much but may enjoy a companion. He would be wonderful for someone looking for a loyal companion, or for a family who wants a fun, kid-friendly dog without the challenges of a puppy (biting, accidents, or training). He’s up to date on rabies and groomed every 4–6 weeks (next appointment soon).
