Story
Our hearts break to rehome our Bernie boy. He truly is the best, but needs to be in a home without young kids Bernie just turned 1 & came from an ethical breeder! He is very well trained. He did a board and train program & he is house trained, crate trained, can sit, place, lay down, stay, leave it, off, come, give paw, and spin. He walks great on a leash & knows go potty. He does not climb only the couch or bed, but he has been known to counter surf when no one is looking. You do need to be careful with socks, underwear & stuffed animals as he loves them! With a bit more training I'm sure this stealthy sealing habit will be gone. He was also neutered last month. Bernie loves to be apart of the pack, he's always interested in what you are doing and just wants to be around. He is very loving and so friendly! He can get shy around new male humans. He gets very excited when he sees other dogs and just wants to romp around! Everyone that meets Bernie just falls in love with him.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! Coco puff and Lone Wolf. These two are siblings, but not in the usual way.  They aren't from the same litter....not even the same mix-breed! Still, 2 weeks ago they came together and bonded like any brother and sister! They take turns beating on /annoying the other...however,  Coco seems to take top marks in this. The first word that comes to mind with Coco Puff is....ADORABLE! This little girl looks very much like one of the fluffy, battery-powered,  toy dogs that you might see when walking by a vendor's stall at the mall. She's a mass of wooly puff-balls.....and she's constantly in motion! She loves to wrestle with her current 'brother' Lone Wolf, as well as the 4 house chihuahuas....and cats.. in her foster home.As one of her 2 foster moms I have my own opinion about her breed origin. My spouse, the Long-time volunteer says that she is a 'poodle mix'. I,  on the other hand,  was stationed at MCAS Iwakuni Japan in 76, and I helped capture 2 wild Akita puppies living in a den under an abandoned control tower. She looks very much like my 'Teddi bear'. She has many of the Akita traits : fur texture, coloring, and the recognized curled tail flying proudly over her back! She also displays 'Teddi Bear's' attitude!Constantly ready to play and explore, loves to interact...with animals or people, especially on the floor! She dances about and talks, sometimes even coming up on her hind legs to dance. I think she could be taught to 'sit up' quite easily.Unlike her 'brother', Lone Wolf, she loves to cuddle and snuggle,  although she'll still be on the lookout for another adventure to escape to!Adoption fees include up to date on vaccines, treatment for fleas and worms, spay, chip implantation and initial registration.  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/32026/genericYou can meet Fudgy at Fontana Petco on Sundays from 12-4.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Apply on-line using the link to our application.  Please be sure to use the species specific application for a dog or cat.  Adoption events are held every Sunday, excluding holidays, at the Fontana Petco.  The Fontana Petco is located at the corner of Sierra and Sierra Lakes Parkway, just off the 210 freeway, April 28, 2024, 6:13 am
