Story
Sterling has had quite a journey before landing in our home. He had been passed from house to house, and we’ve had him for over 2 years. When we took him in, he turned us into a 3 doggie home. Once our soul dog, and alpha lady passed, the dynamics between Sterling and our other dog changed. Sterling struggles with a high energy dog such as our heeler. He does well with dogs, however the playing situation is where he can get possessive and cause issues. He is a kind soul, who needs a lot of attention and love. He suffered a spinal stroke last spring, so his mobility is limited. He does not need medication anymore, but will not be able to go on long walks. When he gets the zoomies, hunker down and prepare for a good laugh. He usually wears himself out and then proceeds to nap. He loves toys, but will destroy them. He prefers all the attention, especially when it comes to cats, but enjoys being a jungle gym with our toddler. He loves to lay around, and be with his people.

Story
Piper is an eight month old bernedoodle who may weigh 62lbs, but still believes that’s the perfect lap dog size. She’s grown up with small children in the home and is very patient, although she forgets her size sometimes and barrels in for a hug a little too hard. She knows sit and stay and is working on down (she just gets so excited). For a puppy, she has her calm moments and loves sprawling out on her back with her legs in the air. She’s a good, loyal girl who loves to be loved and deserves a home that can provide her that attention. She does like to swallow kid socks whole as well as baby wipes, so special attention should be paid to break that habit.
