Story
Energetic, fun-loving 4-year old "lap dog" looking for space to run and explore. Dax is terrific with kids and loves playing with other dogs. He makes friends quickly at the dog park. My family took in Dax about 3 years ago while my sister was going through difficult health issues. What was supposed to be a temporary arrangement turned permanent and sadly we now need to find a new home for him. We just can't give Dax what he needs. Dax loves to run and interacting with everything, but we live in a subdivision so do not have adequate space to satisfy his curiosity. Dax is an extremely intelligent dog so needs lots of interaction, but with 2 working parents and 4 kids in the house, poor Dax gets overlooked at times. His one bad habit is escaping and running around the neighborhood (he thinks it's a game). We absolutely LOVE Dax, but it would be selfish to keep him knowing he would be happier and more fulfilled in a loving home with more space and an owner with more time to play.
