Hazel-St. Berdnaoodle female 2YO, DOB 4-24-24 (Sept. 2024) Please contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application Hazel is in need of a new home. She gets along with dogs, cats and kids. She loves playing tug of war and excels at fetching. She has completed all her training classes so is well trained and will make a great walking, running and hiking companion. Saint Berdoodles are firm family favourites who thrive off 24/7 company, whether from pet parents or furry friends. These big bundles of love and affection will make themselves at home right away, ideally at the heart of an adoring family. This hybrid will typically be affectionate and enjoy being in the thick of things. She will usually develop a strong bond with her humans and will prefer to spend as much time as possible with them. FROM PRIOR ADOPTER: Hazel has a heart of gold and can connect with those for whom she trusts on a deep level. Playful, energetic, and loving, she gives it her all. She plays well with others and LOVES her stuffies, carrying them around like baby dolls. She’s lived in a house with plenty of activity with a human brother and sister, a dog sister, and a cat sister, playing with all when she gets warmed up. Due to her keen ability to read people’s emotions, she’s hesitant when others are anxious, loud, or hesitant around her. However, when she trusts someone, she gives her whole heart to them and is the best cuddle buddy, foot warmer, and grounding presence. Shes a special soul and needs a family patient and capable of loving her wholly. She’s completely potty trained, knows commands for stay, walk, sit, and lay down, (with accompanying hand gestures), and even knows “load up!” into a bath tub after a good jaunt playing in the mud and rain! (Deli meat is her high value treat!) She loves walks, playing fetch, and cuddling. She is use to have people around more often than not as her prior family worked from home. Hazel's adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com . Be sure to include your location and a phone number for future communication.

Story
Oliver is a two year old Golden Mountain Doodle (Bernese Mountain Dog, Poodle, Golden Retriever). We got Oliver when he was a puppy from a breeder in the Midwest and he has been with us since he was a puppy. Oliver is very loving and sweet with the people he knows. He loves our family and our kids. Unfortunately Oliver has extreme anxiety and our busy household is not a good fit for him. Oliver is very scared of strangers and becomes anxious around people he does not know. Oliver has been seeing a behavioralist and is currently taking anxiety medications (which could be stopped). We are very sad to rehome him but think he would be happier with another family that has less visitors and less activity. A rural setting might be a good fit as well. He is good with other dogs. He is house trained and knows basic commands. He is up to date on his vaccines and has been neutered. We would love to find him a good home. Due to his anxiety, we are looking for a new home within driving distance.
