Story
Pixie is a 10 year old, female Poodle/Schnauzer mix. She has a buff colored curly coat which does require regular grooming. She is house trained and sleeps in her crate at night. She loves people and would do best in a home with someone who is home most of the time or working from home. Because she loves her people so much she may experience anxiety if left alone. She needs patience and a routine schedule while adjusting to her new home. She enjoys laying on the back of the couch and watching tv with her family. She loves to go for walks and gets along with other dogs and cats. She is spayed and current on vaccines. Pixie has a heart murmur that requires daily medication. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be sent via email to help@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524, or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
