Story
Peanut is a 5-month-old pup who’s full of fun and curiosity 🐾 While we think he might be an Appenzell Mountain Dog mix—thanks to that awesome curly tail—it’s just a guess based on looks. What we do know is that he’s all puppy: playful, smart, and ready to explore the world with you. He’s already doing great on a leash and learning quickly. Peanut is social, silly, and always up for an adventure. He’s got that perfect mix of energy and affection, making him a blast to have around. Peanut is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. If you’re looking for a sweet, active pup to grow up with, come meet Peanut! 🐶

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This companion animal is available through the CVRR 'Home to Home' program. All dogs or cats is this program are the property of the current owner/guardian. CVRR makes no guarantees regarding the health or temperament of said animal. All communication regarding this animal must be directed to the posted owner/guradian. CVRR receives no compensation for this listing. Skye – Female Great Pyrenees Age: ~2 yearsWeight: ~65 lbsSpayed: YesCoat: Thick double coat, primarily whiteActivity Level: Calm companion with guardian instincts Overview Skye is a sweet, affectionate female Great Pyrenees who has been part of our family since May/June 2025. She has a gentle, people-oriented temperament and enjoys being close to her humans. She displays many of the calm, observant traits typical of guardian breeds and does best with predictable routines and clear expectations. This rehoming decision has been made with care. While Skye is a wonderful dog, she requires a different household setup and more specialized training than we are able to provide. We believe she would thrive with an experienced owner familiar with guardian breeds. Health Spayed Up to date on vaccinations On heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives No known chronic medical conditions Dogs: Skye’s reactivity is context-specific and limited to the indoor home environment only with our resident dog. She and our other dog spend hours together outside without any aggression, and she has not shown dog-to-dog aggression in other settings, including at her pet sitter’s home where other dogs are present. This suggests her behavior is related to indoor environment or household dynamics rather than generalized aggression. Cats: Lives with cats and ignores them completely. People: Very affectionate and loving with adults. Children: Does well with children. She regularly stays with a pet sitter who has a 9-year-old, and she interacts appropriately with our 13-year-old daughter. Temperament & Social Behavior Skye is not aggressive but benefits from confident, consistent handling and clear boundaries. Training House trained Currently working on crate training No formal obedience classes yet Responds best to calm, consistent guidance Ideal Home Skye would do best in a calm, structured household with an owner experienced with Great Pyrenees or other guardian breeds, where her indoor routines and transitions can be managed thoughtfully and she can be fully integrated into daily life. Reason for Rehoming Skye is currently kept separated from our other dog only while inside the house, which we feel is not fair to her long-term quality of life. While she does very well outdoors and in other environments, our indoor household setup is not the right fit for her needs.
