Story
Rex is a handsome Bernese Mountain Dog with a gentle soul and a heart as big as his paws! At approximately seven years old and weighing around 90 pounds, Rex embodies everything people love about the breed - loyalty, affection, and a calm, steady presence that brings comfort to everyone he meets.Although Rex is not with his original family, he has shown impressive resilience and adaptability. He approaches new situations with quiet curiosity and looks to the people around him for reassurance and guidance. Once he feels safe, Rex’s affectionate personality truly shines. He forms strong bonds with his humans and is happiest when he’s close by - whether that means relaxing nearby, enjoying a leisurely walk, or simply sharing space with the people he trusts. While Rex has never lived with another dog, we aren`t entirely sure if he would appreciate having another canine to share love and attention with. Ideally, we think Rex might be best suited in a home where he is a solo dog.Rex has a wonderfully balanced temperament. He is friendly and social without being overwhelming, making him an ideal companion for someone who values a calm, steady presence. He moves through life at an unhurried pace and appreciates routine, predictability, and gentle handling. Rex responds best to consistent, kind guidance and thrives in environments where expectations are clear and stress is kept to a minimum. True to his Bernese roots, Rex is deeply people-oriented and wants to be an active part of his family’s daily life. His size may be impressive, but his manners and easygoing nature make him a pleasure to have around.Rex would do well in a home with a yard where he can stretch his legs, but he is equally content with regular walks and enrichment that allow him to explore the world at his own pace. Because Rex can be sensitive to busy or unpredictable environments, he is seeking a kid-free home where he can feel secure and relaxed. A quieter household will allow Rex to continue building confidence and to enjoy the calm companionship he values most. He would be best suited to adults who understand large-breed dogs and are happy to provide structure, patience, and lots of affection.Rex is well past the high-energy puppy stage and offers all the benefits of an adult dog: a settled demeanor, predictable needs, and a deep appreciation for comfort and companionship. He is looking for a home where he will be cherished as a true family member and gi

Story
Hi, I'm Cedric! I'm a goofy, playful guy with a heart of gold. I get along well with other dogs and people but I can be sensitive at times. I don't like to be pushed around. Thankfully I'm a great communicator and will let you know if I'm feeling uncomfortable. Due to my size I'd like to avoid apartment living. A nice yard with enough room to run is best. Right now I'm a young pup with lots of energy, but I'm looking forward to an early retirement - lounge town here I come! Don't worry, I'll still keep my goofy charm as I get older.
