Story
Luciano is a 1-year-old, 73-pound, Bernese Mountain Dog, Poodle mix, per the shelter, but there is also a chance he could be German Shepherd Poodle mix. We can't really tell, but he is fully vaccinated and ready for his forever home. Luciano is doing great in his foster home and enjoys playing with the other dogs in home, not for sure he would be great in a home with young children as Luciano is a very big boy who is still learning his manners and his body! Luciano is mouthy and likes to jump, but is learning to take direction on stopping, he is also learning his leash manners and is doing well in his create, but he will whine for a bit to get his way.  Like most Poodle mixes, grooming is going to be around every six to eight weeks, he likes to be brushed and doesn’t mind grooming as a whole. At this time, due to his talking, we cannot recommend apartments as he does like to talk quite a bit.  If you are interested in adopting Luciano, please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. ***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***May 25, 2024, 2:18 pm

These babies are looking for a loving home. Alonzo: The one with the handsome face is super sweet. He is always putting something in his mouth to show his love for you. Lydia: Alonzo’s littermate is more on the sassy end. She can come off a tad skittish but with treats, she is everyone’s best friend. She does bark when she wants to talk back and she does not get her way. Haywood: The Eeyore looking guy. Haywood is SUPER chill. Super loving along with his siblings. Though, they have been together since puppies. They can be separated.
