Story
“Freckles:” 8 week old female berner lab mix. She is going to be big. She weighs 14lbs already. She is well socialized with people, kids, dogs, and cats. Freckles is the epitome of sugar, spice, and everything nice. She has perfected the art of shooting “puppy dog eyes” at you when she wants something – whether it's snuggles, to go outside, or to let you know that someone has taken her preferred sleeping spot (and that you need to do something about it, pronto). She melts into your arms if you pick her up – which you won’t be able to do easily, for much longer –  but Freckles has a frisky side, too. She loves pouncing on plants (although she loses most flora-related battles), nibbling earlobes, and squeezing into tight spaces looking for trouble.  This sweet girl is most likely a black lab mix of some sort, with soft black hair and even softer white tufts around her neck, on her paws, and the very tip of her tail (because a girls’ outfit isn’t complete without accessories!) She loves playing outdoors, and following her people around for love, play, and attention.

Story
“King Julien, or KJ” 8 week old male berner lab mix. He is going to be a big boy, currently weighing in at 16 lbs. We got these pups at 3 days old when they were dropped off at animal control doorstep during the snow storm. He is well socialized with people, kids, dogs, and cats (King Julien was named after the character in the movie Madagascar, because when he was a tiny puppy we noticed the markings on his belly looked just like King Julien’s face.)  KJ just wants to be your bro, man. He is adventurous, smart, and brave, but he won’t go too far without looking back to make sure his person is still there. He is quick to let you know if he needs to go outside, or if you haven’t shown him enough love recently. His puppy antics keep everyone laughing, and his big personality will no doubt grow with him, just like he’ll grow into his gigantic paws. KJ has black, wavy fur, with just a hint of white on his nose, and white patches under his chin and on his chest.

Story
“Po” 8 week old male berner lab mix. He also is going to be a big boy weighing in at 16 lbs already. We have had these guys since they were 3 days old when they were dropped on the doorstep of animal control in the middle of the snow storm. He is well socialized with people, kids, dogs, and cats Po was named after the Kung Fu Panda, because he’s sweet, a bit simple, and the best kind of rolly-polly. This gentle, soon-to-be-giant is an absolute love-dumpling. He settles into snuggles with deep sighs of contentment, and enjoys watching the world revolve around him (because of course it does!) He loves wrestling with his siblings, taking long naps, and exploring outside.  If Po was a character in a movie, he’d be the sidekick that provides comedic relief, or maybe even the obedient henchman to an inept supervillain. He seems pretty content just going along with whatever everyone else is doing, and his good nature will always get him out of whatever trouble he can find.  Like his sister, Po is most likely a black lab mix, with white, fluffy tufts under his chin, down his chest, and the very tip of his tail. And somehow – although he seems to love water (and mud, for that matter) – those giant white paws never seem to stay dirty.

Story
I got Godiva as a puppy from a navy family that was moving. And this is so hard because she choose me. My girl is very good at cuddling, she loves people and their food so be careful with you plate, very loyal, protective even from leaves or passerby, loves the beach, long walks, but absolutely hates her nails trimmed, don't squish her ears cause she doesn't like that and she will let you know(yelp), good with kids and cats. Honestly, this is the hardest thing I've had to do. Im newly divorced and thought I could do it on my own. Now if anything happens to her I cant help her. She is 12yrs old but you couldn't tell besides all the white that now covers her face. She listens to sit, come, stay, and she understands English so speak freely. House trained and create trained but I leave her out all day and no messes or accidents. I just want her to live the rest of her life out peacefully.
