Pippa is a darling 10-year-old Bichon Frise who is searching for a loving home after her owner—who cherished her since she was just a puppy—had to move into a nursing home. This sweet girl is a little confused by all the changes, but her gentle, loving nature shines through every day.
Pippa is everything you’d hope for in a companion dog. She’s house-trained, up-to-date on all her vet care, and has lovely manners. She’s happiest simply being near her person—following you from room to room, curling up beside you on the couch, or sitting quietly at your feet. She’s a calm, affectionate little shadow who just wants to love and be loved.
Despite her age, Pippa is a happy, easygoing pup who still has plenty of love to give. She doesn’t ask for much—just a cozy home, a warm lap, and someone to share her days with.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.
NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes.
