Looking for a unicorn… Viola is a 6yr old bichon frise who is looking for her fresh start in life 🐾✨ She is cat and dog friendly and would prefer a home with at least one other dog to feel most comfortable. She is quite shy and reserved when it comes to new people but warms up to new animal friends quickly. She loves snuggling with the other dogs in her foster home and playfully running around the yard. She is potty trained and willingly goes in and out with the other dogs. Her ideal home will need a a fully fenced in yard as she is very skittish around people and will run away if startled. She has severe separation anxiety when isolated from the other dogs in her foster home but does well outside of her crate when left out with the other dogs unsupervised. Her foster home is working on training her to be more confident and comfortable by herself. She will need a patient home that is willing to continue helping her with her anxiety. She follows her foster humans very closely and can pose as a trip hazard because of how close she gets underfoot. She’s not a huge fan of being pet or picked up but will stay nearby and is feeling a tiny bit more comfortable around people every day. She does good for grooming and has high maintenance grooming needs. She will need professional grooming monthly as well as frequent brushing and combing at home to maintain her current hairstyle. He enjoys being with his people and loves going places and spending time together. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or relaxing on the couch in someone’s lap, Teddy is happiest by your side. Teddy has a wonderful balance of energy — he’s happy to run around and play or head out for walks, but he’s equally content curling up for a quiet afternoon. He walks well on leash and is both housebroken and crate trained. He does well with dogs of all sizes and would love a canine companion. Teddy is not a fan of cats. He is good with older children but can be nervous around younger kids, so a quieter or semi-active home may be the best fit for him. A fenced yard is great, but he would also do well with someone committed to leash walks and outings. Teddy can be nervous at the vet, but he handles visits without issues. Check out Theodore Jones (TJ) he is a 7 month old Shih tzu mix weighing in at about 8#. TJ will play fetch for hours, runs and jumps like a kangaroo. He is full of energy and needs someone that can play, walk, and run that energy off. He can jump on top of things and it wouldn't surprise me to find him on top of the kitchen table. TJ would love a high energy dog friend. He is kennel trained and keeps a dry kennel overnight, or while we are gone, but definitely still struggling on the potty training. Meet Benji, a 16-year-old Shih Tzu mix who weighs about 13 pounds and is equal parts gentle soul and devoted sidekick.
