All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Meet Piston, the kitten with a tale of adventure! Hidden in the shadows of a bustling garage, Piston found her way into the heart of a car engine, seeking warmth. Her purrs mingled with the hum of machinery until a kind mechanic, hearing the unusual 'engine trouble,' gently coaxed her out. Realizing her need for a safer home, he brought her to DPS Rescue.  At 12 weeks old, she is now ready for her forever home. She is a little firecracker. Sweet as can be but independent too. She could join a home with another cat, cat savvy dog or kids. She will probably boss everyone around. Piston is now ready to leap into your life, bringing her brave, playful spirit into your home. Adopt Piston and let your adventures begin! She has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treated and microchipped.
