Story
352-807-2330 ADOPT WILMO! A affectionate male kitty who loves attention & has been around other pets. This adoption is NOT through Furry Nation Salvation and is a Courtesy Post. Please call the individual listed below with any further questions or to set up a time to meet the pet. Thank you. Please call/text this number if interested: 352-807-2330 Cat located in this city: Deltona Cat’s Name: Wilmo Madison Cat’s Age & Sex: 9 year old MALE Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped): neutered, vaxd and microchipped! Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome): Wilmo is a silly boy. He was adopted from a rescue that listed him as a "spayed female" and was later found out to be a neutered male. After going by "Wilma Madison" for so long we have kept it but try to call him Wilmo now. Wilmo was found outside and was fixed under the TNR program and why one ear is clipped. Wilmo is a love bug and wants nothing more but to rub up and lean against you while you scratch behind his ears and pet his head and back. He has has been raised around other dogs, cats and children and does great with all three! He is a very social kitty but also enjoys time laying in a good Sunray on a nice warm floor. Wilma has NEVER been aggressive or ever even growled. Unfortunately due to allergies of his new human baby brother HE would do better in a new home. I HOPE to find him a SUPER STABLE inside ONLY HOME. Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): very social! Wilma chooses when he wants to be in your lap but always wants to be pet. Tolerates being picked up but doesn't enjoy being held. Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): food, litter, litter box, bowls What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): Wilmo is eating dry food only. Purina urinary blend- He HAS to stay on this food so he does NOT get urinary tract issues .in the last he has had problems with his urinary tract and blockages, but on this food he has done very well. ***I will give you the remaining food when adopted. :::::::::::what the rescue told me for education purposes as I had no idea: Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. At the VERY minimum each cat should get one 3oz. can of wet food a day or HALF of a 5.5oz. can a day (although we recommend double this). :::::::::::: More info here: FurryNationSalvation.Org/wetfood IF YOU WANT TO ADOPT: 1) Please show up with a cat carrier 2) Small adoption fee of: $20 3) I will call/text one month from adoption day just to make sure everything is going well 4) Please show up with your Driver's License. 5) Information sheet will be filled out (your information as well as mine) *Please know, that when you bring your newly adopted cat or kitten home, it is always BEST to place him/her in a very small room (bathroom works great) with their litter box, food, water, and bed for a few days to a few weeks. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress. All cats/kittens need time to adjust, so if you adopt please allow this. Thank you. Call/text me if interested in this kitty: 352-807-2330
