Soft voices, a calm home, and Churu treats will be the key to unlocking my true personality!I have a medical condition that requires long term management.I have been diagnosed with dental disease which means I may need dental cleanings or extractions in the future.Fearful Behavior: I can be worried about new people or new surroundings. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to go home to a calm environment. Handling Sensitivity:I can be overwhelmed by overhandling, restraint or touch. I may exhibit my discomfort in a variety of ways and will need to go to cat savvy home.The type of home I'm looking for:You may be drawn to me by my good looks, but remember it takes a lot of upkeep to look this gorgeous! Story
We originally adopted Elessar from a foster home 6 years ago as a kitten. He was raised by hand but lived with multiple other kittens. A few years after we adopted Elessar, we decided to adopt a second kitten in hopes to give him a pal. However, this turned out a little differently than we were hoping. Elessar truly wants to be a solo cat. Whenever our other cat is not in the room, he becomes his normal self, playful, loving, purrs, talkative--otherwise, he likes to sulk in the corner. Our other cat is definitely the stronger-willed, so they easily dominate meeker Elessar. Introducing a sister to Elessar also came with some behavioral changes. He currently struggles to pee or poop in the litterbox, but he often gets close. Our current solution is escorting him, which he is used to. Not ideal, but it gets the job done. Elessar loves the outdoors too. Elessar would thrive in a single-pet home that comes with his own little space and a promise that he won't get a sibling.
