Story
At 35lbs and growing, sweet puppy Boone waited at the shelter for nearly 2 months and we can't figure out why! Thanks to a dedicated foster, our team at Dog Coalition LA was able to place him in a foster home in November, as the shelter is no place for a young dog to grow and learn. In his foster home, Boone is decompressing from the stress of shelter living and beginning to learn all of the important doggie skills needed to continue to grow into a wonderful guy. Boone is working on house and crate training, leash training, boundaries, and more. He is puppy playful, gentle, and a very affectionate little guy. While we're still getting to know him, he is a young and shape-able pup that we believe would do well in a home with another dog. We hope to find Boone a forever home that will continue to provide him with structure, enrichment, socialization, and lots of love as he grows up. Radar is a 3 year old treeing walker coonhound. He has been with us since he was 12 weeks old. He was born in Santa Fe, NM and both of his parents are trained hunting dogs - needless to say he has a bunch of energy! He would be great with an individual/ family that has time to let him release his energy at the park or in the outdoors. Radar loves to cuddle and give you his paw. He’s very affectionate!!

Story
Sedona is a very loving and loyal dog. She loves to play and is a great cuddler. We’ve taken her hiking and camping a lot and she really enjoys it. Unfortunately, we recently had a child and having another in the near future, and with our busy schedules, we haven’t been able to give her the love and attention she deserves. We want her to be able to live the life she is meant to live, but sadly we are unable to provide that for her anymore and don’t want her to suffer any longer. She was a rescue from off the streets. The vet thinks she may be a black and tan coonhound mix but not 100% sure.

Meet bonded pair Blake (darker) and Jake (redder) a pair of 9ish month old Doberman mixes. These boys are so fun and terrific and silly and goofy. They`re still very much in the puppy phase they definitely are testing boundaries and learning what’s expected of them. Blake is a bit mouthier and bolder, Jake is a bit simpler and the one more likely to be vocal. Overall they were very quiet even when in the middle of a heavy play session. The only time we really heard vocalizations from them is when play got too rough for Jake and he had to tell his brother to quit it. They’re still growing, and together it’s already a lot of dog to take on, so their adopters need to be ready for a lot of action. Since they’re goofy babies, getting them transitioned into a new home and learning the rules will take some up front effort, but once they lock in, it’ll be great. They’ll love going on adventures, but they’re also quite content to entertain each other- one of the best perks of a bonded pair, you don’t have to work hard to burn their play energy, they use sibling power for that. We super enjoyed hanging out with these goobers and could have spent all afternoon with them, easily. While not every human and home is ready or right for 2 big goofball dogs, the home that is ready for them will be incredibly lucky, because these guys are the absolute best!
