Story
At 8 years old, this senior hound has truly mastered the art of lounging. She’s low-key, low-energy, and all about the quiet comforts of home. Big Momma Margot is housetrained, rides well in the car, and doesn’t make a fuss — just give her a cozy spot and a soft blanket, and she’s set for the day. She gets along great with other dogs, is sweet with kids, and while she enjoys a good cuddle, she’s also perfectly content doing her own thing. Think of her as the chill roommate who always minds her business… but will happily lean in for a snuggle during movie night. Her adoption fee is $200 and includes her spay, vaccines, microchip, and up-to-date parasite prevention. If you’re looking for a calm, steady presence to keep things peaceful and cozy, Big Mama is ready to retire in style — and she’s hoping it’s with you. 🖤 Apply to adopt Big Momma Margot at www.fullcirclerescueandsanctuary.com

Story
Meet Daisy! She is a 3 year old black and tan coonhound who I’ve been fostering since May. This girl is very high energy and LOVES to be outside. She requires many hours of outside time everyday. She needs a home with a large yard with plenty of room to run around and sniff. She would benefit from life on a farm, as a running partner, or even a hunting companion! She is very friendly and does well with cats, dogs, and children!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.Hello! My name is Anne, but sometimes people call me Annie (or Anne-cakes.) I am very sweet and happy-go-lucky; I’m the ideal Black and Tan Coonhound mix. For anyone who loves the spirit and the ways of hound dogs, but hates all the slobber, and would love a medium-sized dog…I’d be perfect since I only weigh 40 pounds! I am like most hounds, a very good watch dog with a sweet bellow to let you know your friends are at the door. But if you don’t like my lyric, country-hound voice, all you need to do is block my view, and I’ll stop. I am very easy-going, calm, and gentle-natured, and I love meeting new people and dogs whenever I can. People always tell me how beautiful I am. They especially point out my gorgeous black and brown coloring and markings, my gentle eyes, my sweet smile, and they love my goofy floppy ears, and how soft my fur is. I don’t shed very much, and I am very good when I get my baths. I love being petted, and I am very affectionate with all the humans whom I love and spend time with. My humans, especially like the fact that I am not needy, and I’m very happy to amuse myself or take a long nap in the sun, or curled up in my dog bed. I also do well when I’m in my crate, as long as I don’t have any bedding. I’m a young dog at heart and I love playing with other dogs at my current home; though I don’t really like young puppies (I think they’re rude sometimes.) I could be happy living as the only dog or with a family of doggies I could join. I really like to go for car rides, and I love going on long walks and trips to fun places. I would love to go hiking with you, camping, or even on just a quick walk around the neighborhood. I am very motivated by food, praise, and affection, so I really like to learn new skills and behaviors, just in case you want to train me! I know I could use some help learning how to not pull on the leash. I would make a great dog for a family with older children, or a couple, or a single person looking for a new best friend. I hope I can find my forever home someday soon, because I have a lot of love to give. I am very adaptable, and I love going to new places. I don’t mind being in crowds, and I love going on adventures where I can sniff to my heart’s content. I am a hound dog after all. And this nose was made for sniffing. Though I don’t do any digging or escaping where I live right now, my previous foster mom, said I liked to dig when I was left alone outside. So please come and hang out with me when I go out for potty or for fun. Or if you have a fenced in yard with reinforcement at the ground level, I can go out alone, sniff around, explore, and do some sunbathing, I’d like that too. Either way, I really want to meet you if you think I’m the right pup for you. I’ve been fixed and am up-to-date on all my shots and vet care, so I’m ready to go! I’d love to show you how sweet and lovable I am in person!   If you are interested in Anne, please fill out an application at: https://reachoutrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4588    Or contact: rorrcanine@gmail.com   *** Click here to sponsor this dog! ***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 6, 2025, 9:31 pm

Then RJ is your guy!     This young Black and Tan Coonhound mix wandered onto a property in Georgia one day, politely introduced himself, and has been charming everyone ever since. Sadly, no one came to claim this gentleman, so K-9 Lifesavers has stepped in to help find this handsome fella a forever home of his own. RJ is ready to trade “stray life” for “spoiled family dog” status. RJ is housebroken and we're told he just loves kids. He’s equal parts adventure buddy and nap-time enthusiast—basically, he’s your new best friend with a hound dog heart. Unfortunately, this big handsome fella is heartworm positive, but with treatment provided by K-9 Lifesavers, he'll be feeling fine in no time.     If you’re ready for long walks, loud snores, and lots of unconditional love, apply today and meet RJ before someone else snatches up this Southern charmer! To learn more about heartworm please visit: https://www.webmd.com/pets/dogs/features/heartworms-in-dogs-facts-and-mythsYour new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. https://foha.org/pet/oscar/ Hello. I am Oscar. No, I do not have a hot dog named after me. No, I'm not a grouch from Sesame Street (although I do have my moments), and I'm not the messy Oscar from the Odd Couple. I am Oscar the hound. A redbone coonhound to be precise. Since I am a hound, my nose leads the way on long walks. I am great with other dogs. I especially love to relax outdoors in the sun and I am house trained. I also know basic commands and take treats well. I love car rides! While I am primarily good-natured, I can be protective of food, toys, and objects that I think are mine. I would do best in a home with no children and a strong experienced owner. A few other things about me. I do the "Oscar dance to make a pitch for some yummy treats. Also, I always, always have a smile on my face. I love low-key living and know a great home is out there for me. Come and visit to see my Oscar dance, and let's get to know each other! If you have the experience and are looking for a dog to hang out on the back porch and bath in the sun. I am the Oscar for you.

Story
My Mom was really, really, really big into dog rescue and helping at the shelters. I meant the absolute world to her. She is in heaven now, but had asked this Foster mom to do the huge last request of finding me a new home to live out my senior years. I am a big lovable load, around 80 pounds. I love going in the car and I don’t mind some short walks and I walk very loose leash. I prefer to be with somebody rather than left alone all day while you’re at work, but I do just fine when you have to go out and run errands and are gone for a few hours. I get along fine with other dogs and I used to live with a cat, but I have also been known to chase the neighbor’s cat. I am nine years old, and I have a couple lumpy, bumpy fatty growths. The vet has looked at everything and does not have any worries about it being more than fatty tumors. I sure would love a comfortable home with some good couch time and adventure movies to watch. I am a pretty easy addition, and I know my mom would be forever grateful. If you would like an adoption application, please contact my Foster mom at irondawgs13@gmail.com
