Story
Dawn and Honey are 2 special dogs who are now ready for their forever home. Dawn is the tan dog on the left, Honey is her "sister" on the right. These 2 girls grew up in the same home and are forever bonded. Dawn is 4 years old and Honey is 7 years old. Both weigh 45 pounds and they totally enjoy each other's company. They eat together, sleep together in the kennel and hope to spend the rest of their lives together. They are good with other dogs. They are both spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Dawn and Honey are ready for their new family and Nala's is happy to be a part of their journey to find that family. Meet Twinkle, the 1.5-year-old, 43-pound sparkler who’s ready to light up your life! This shy and sweet girl is ready to leave her traumatic past behind her and find her forever human to show her what love, patience and kindness is. Twinkle is incredibly sweet with people she trusts, always ready to shower you with affection and brighten your day. Sweet Twinkle has been living with our dog trainer since September 1, 2025. She's crate trained, walks politely on a leash, rides beautifully in the car and LOVES other dogs! She's discovered that living inside is wonderful and has enjoyed living in a family environment (rather than outside or in a crowded kennel). She's also found that toys are super fun to play with! Twinkle was rescued from life on a heavy chain, living outside without access to food, water or reasonable shelter. Her previous owner was arrested on animal cruelty charges. Although we don't know for sure what Twinkle endured we do know that she'll need her new owner to understand that she'll take a little time to get used to her new home and be patient with her.
