Meet Twinkle, the 1.5-year-old, 43-pound sparkler who’s ready to light up your life! This shy and sweet girl is ready to leave her traumatic past behind her and find her forever human to show her what love, patience and kindness is. Twinkle is incredibly sweet with people she trusts, always ready to shower you with affection and brighten your day. Sweet Twinkle has been living with our dog trainer since September 1, 2025. She's crate trained, walks politely on a leash, rides beautifully in the car and LOVES other dogs! She's discovered that living inside is wonderful and has enjoyed living in a family environment (rather than outside or in a crowded kennel). She's also found that toys are super fun to play with! Twinkle was rescued from life on a heavy chain, living outside without access to food, water or reasonable shelter. Her previous owner was arrested on animal cruelty charges. Although we don't know for sure what Twinkle endured we do know that she'll need her new owner to understand that she'll take a little time to get used to her new home and be patient with her.

My mom adopted Sparky from a shelter years ago. She has passed and I can no longer care for him. He’s a sweet senior boy, about 13 years old. Even though he’s older, he still has bursts of energy, especially at the dog park where he loves to explore and trot around. At home, he’s calm, relaxed, and enjoys cuddling or napping in his own space. He loves being around people and other animals and has never shown any aggression. The only thing that scares him is thunder, but with reassurance he settles down. I’m looking for a new home that can offer him stability, love, and a peaceful environment. He does well in both energetic and quiet homes, as long as he’s given attention, kindness, and a comfortable place to rest. Some words to describe him: gentle, affectionate, loyal, easygoing, social, and surprisingly playful for his age.

Meet the Holly pups! They had a rough start to life, being born in a rural shelter on a concrete floor. We were able to get there within hours of their birth and get them into a foster, where they have thrived! Mama Holly is as sweet as can be, and is known for loving to play dress up! She has a lot of sass! Their dad was with Holly when she was found, and was a Mountain Cur. The puppies have pretty much all taken after dad, and have a rainbow of coloring! The puppies will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption, have their first set of shots, and be dewormed. We are happy to welcome Blondie into our Nala’s family. This brave girl was wandering the streets of Okeechobee before being rescued by Nala’s. She is a Black Mouth Cur/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. Blondie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. She is now hoping for a home of her own and she is behaving perfectly in a home. Currently in a foster home, she is best friend with the cat and the Chihuahua. Blondie is great with other dogs and loves to be around people. Blondie is super quiet, she loves her dog bed and walks well on a leash. She is about 5 years old and will be a perfect companion for a lucky person or family.

I love attention and affection, but in true cat-like fashion, I’m also perfectly happy doing my own thing once I’ve had my fill of pets. I'm sweet, strong, and smart — but make no mistake, I’m a lot of dog.I’ve got a high prey drive, so cats, squirrels, bunnies… I see ‘em, I chase ‘em. Because of that, I’d do best in a home without small animals and with adults or older teens who are confident handling a strong dog on leash. A fenced yard would be awesome so I can zoom my little heart out. Speaking of zooms — I can get the zoomies hard, and while I mean no harm, I could totally knock over a little human by accident. I know my perfect match is out there though, and when you meet me, you’ll see why I’m worth it.Here’s the scoop on me: I’m a loyal, snuggly buddy who loves people and warms up quickly. I’ve got a major soft spot for belly rubs, pets, and couch cuddles. I also love my walks — so much that I’ll bark with excitement when I see that leash come out! Don’t worry, I’ve even got a couple tricks up my sleeve — I can sit and shake if you bribe me with treats.
