Story
Meet Harmony, a young Black Mouth Cur mix whose name perfectly captures her gentle spirit and easygoing nature. Weighing 35 pounds, she brings warmth, balance, and a steady calmness wherever she goes. Harmony is currently being fostered in a loving home in New Braunfels, TX, but she is eligible for transport to approved adopters in the Pacific Northwest and Northeast United States. This sweet girl is as well-mannered as she is affectionate. Harmony is fully potty trained, kennel trained, and leash trained, making her an easy fit for a wide range of households. She’s very dog friendly and loves having canine companions around. In her foster home, she enjoys keeping an eye on her dog friends and will happily trot over to check in if she hasn’t seen them—or her people—in a few minutes. She simply wants to make sure everyone is safe and accounted for. Harmony has a lovely balance of curiosity and calm. During the day, she likes staying busy, exploring the yard, or quietly observing household activities. But when it’s time to relax, she settles right in. One of her favorite things is being near her humans, whether that means resting at your feet, following you from room to room, or curling up beside you for quiet companionship. Her gentle loyalty and steady presence make her feel like a constant source of comfort. With her affectionate personality and attentive nature, Harmony will make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a devoted companion. She’s ready to find her forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and truly part of the family every step of the way. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Meet Ranger Howie, a 6-month old Black Mouth Cur mix with the brains and heart of a future top recruit. This brave little soldier had a rough start, but he’s making huge strides in his training. Howie has already mastered “sit,” loves to play fetch, and after his puppy zoomies fade, he’s a surprisingly chill and easygoing boy. He’s fearless around horses, unfazed by loud noises, and enjoys weekly “training missions” at doggy daycare where he learns from the best and plays with his fellow recruits. Howie is non-aggressive and even respectful toward cats, though he’s still learning they don’t always want to play. He’s working on potty training, crate training, and basic manners — all part of his journey to becoming a well-trained gentleman. Smart, eager to please, and quick to learn, Howie just needs a patient, loving family to guide him to his full potential. He loves car rides and sits calmly in the back seat like a true professional on patrol. With plenty of toys, playtime, and affection, Ranger Howie will grow into the loyal, dependable companion every family dreams of. Could your home be his next command post? Story
Meet Nala – Ready for Her Fresh Start Nala is a 3 ½-year-old Black Mouth Cur/Basenji mix with a heart as sweet as her gentle spirit. Her journey hasn’t been an easy one—she was found as a pregnant stray, and despite the challenges, she devoted herself to raising her puppies with love and care. Now that her little ones are grown, it’s finally Nala’s turn to shine and experience what it means to be the one who’s cherished. This beautiful girl is fully vetted—spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and kept on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention—so she’s ready to step into her forever home. She is both kennel trained and potty trained, which makes her an easy fit into a new routine. Nala also walks nicely on a leash and rides well in the car when kenneled, making outings and adventures with her a pleasure. Nala’s personality is a mix of sweetness and playfulness. She loves to play, enjoys attention, and thrives when she’s at the center of her family’s world. With her soulful eyes and quiet charm, she’s the kind of companion who will be devoted and loyal once trust is built. Her perfect home would not have small children, as her enthusiasm and playful energy could easily knock them over. She blossoms in a calm and structured environment and is ready to pour her love into the people who open their hearts to her. Nala has been through so much, but her resilient spirit shines. She’s more than ready for her new beginning—a safe, loving home where she can finally rest, play, and be adored. Could Nala be your perfect match? Story
This cutie is Buddy Holly. He is currently 2 months old. We think they may be a Black Mouth Cur / German Shepherd mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from us, it saves their life as well as the life of another in its place. Watch Buddy's video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsky3UFWdmw Buddy is a sweet and friendly puppy who loves making new friends wherever he goes. With his adorable floppy ears and wagging tail, he instantly wins hearts. Always curious, Buddy loves exploring his surroundings and learning new things. He's the perfect companion—loving, playful, and ready to bring joy to his forever home. He loves to play with his foster siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! We pride ourselves in being able to give you good personality and behavioral information to help ensure this baby is the right fit for you. You are also welcome to do a Facetime call to meet your new baby before signing paperwork! Buddy Holly is still very young and will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. A puppy is discovering new things that shape their personalities with each passing day. Implementing routine, structure, setting boundaries, and proper socialization is key from the start. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy starting immediately when arriving into their new home, which will help with potty training, energy management, and the overall development of a well rounded adult dog. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Meet Snow White, the fairest of them all and not just because she is cute enough to win over seven dwarfs (or in her case six siblings). This almost 13 week old 20 pound heart stealer was born to our sweet mama Nala, a beautiful Basenji mix, right in the VIP suite at our local animal control (okay fine it was a kennel but she made it work). Dad’s identity is a mystery, possibly a dashing stranger or maybe even a traveling salesman, so Snow White is rocking the “designer mix” vibe. She has been raised with her brothers and sisters so she has top notch puppy play skills and she is ready to bring joy, snuggles, and a sprinkle of fairy tale magic to her forever home. Adopt Snow White and your happily ever after might just come with puppy kisses and the occasional chewed slipper. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link.
