The good family who found him said he was likely once house trained, too. He was most likely dumped on the freeway (where he was found) and had been wandering 2-3 weeks based upon his malnourished condition. He seems healthy otherwise and only wants love!

We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our application review takes about 10 days.  This adoption process will require 3 videos of (outside of your home, backyard, and inside of your home) since we are not able to conduct home checks at this time. We will be calling 2 references (Not related to you please). We will be contacting your veterinarian (We work with 1st time owners) to make sure you have vaccinated all your pets yearly, and that all have been spayed/neutered. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, East Coast, Colorado & Canada. This sweet boy can go from a seemingly shy boy to the smiliest lover with just the sound of sweet talk! It was amazing to see him light up when we started talking sweet, he understands that its directed at him and it means he is loved and appreciated. Hunter Smalls… because what he hunts for is small- a sweet talking someone of his very own. At an estimated 2 years old, Hunter has a calm demeanor that typically only comes with age. He is a petite 39 lbs of calm, dog-friendly, cat-tolerant, peaceful companionship. Aside from the power sweet talk has over him, my favorite thing about Hunter is his contentedness. Whether its out in the yard or in the living room, he is happy to share space with in your company. You don’t need to entertain him and he won’t be pestering you for endless games of catch. This gentle soul can be a touch shy at first, but once he senses your warmth and the sweet talk begins, he opens up to show you his loving nature. With his calm demeanor and quiet disposition, Hunter is going to be a wonderful companion to you and other dogs at home. Meet Rover, the delightful 6-month-old Black Mouth Curr mix with a heart as big as his boundless energy. At 30 pounds, he's the perfect blend of sweet and spirited. Rover's sleek brown coat and soulful eyes make him irresistible, drawing attention wherever he goes. This intelligent pup is always up for an adventure, whether it's a romp in the park or a game of fetch in the backyard. His curiosity knows no bounds, and he approaches each new experience with enthusiasm and a wagging tail. But don't let his playful nature fool you-Rover is also a cuddle connoisseur. There's nothing he loves more than snuggling up on the couch with his favorite humans, soaking up all the love and affection he can get. His gentle demeanor and love for physical affection make him the ultimate lap dog. Despite his young age, Rover is eager to learn and quick to pick up new tricks. Whether it's mastering basic commands or tackling more advanced training challenges, he approaches each lesson with a can-do attitude and a wag of determination. Meet Chula Tula! She is currently 4 months old and about 40 pounds, and we think she may be a Boxer/Lab mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Her entire litter is extraordinarily loving and devoted – seriously one of the most caring and affectionate litter of puppies we’ve seen to date - such a credit to our amazing foster homes and the love and security they provide!! Tula loves treats. And Tula loves pets and belly rubs. We took those two things and figured that this adorable girl would be in puppy heaven if we combined them…and we were absolutely right. Tula is mostly a soft brown, with black on her muzzle and tail. She has the cutest eyebrows that frame her soft brown expressive eyes. Ria is ready for the best adventure with you! This affectionate and playful pup needs someone that will lavish all their attention on her. Luckily for you, that will be easy to do – this little girl is so lovable. She loves to be held and given belly rubs almost as much as she likes to play and nap. If you adopt Ria, be sure you are prepared for all the kisses you will get – Ria does not hold back when showing her affection (and we love it that way). Ria is a beautiful tricolour puppy – her body is mostly a soft furry black, but she has tan legs and white ‘boots’. Her head and ears are mostly black, with the cutest brown eyebrows to accentuate her every expression. Ria has a patch of white on top of and underneath her shiny black nose, and also at her chin. She has a distinctive diamond-shaped patch of white fur at the nape of her neck that pops amidst all the black, making her easy to spot from above. Perhaps the best part is her soft white furry belly, which she will show you often while playing and begging for belly rubs. This sweet girl has the best markings and will be quite the stunner as she grows! You are sure to be entertained by all of Ria’s classic puppy antics. She loves to jump and play with all eight (8!) of her siblings and would do well in a house with other dogs, or as the sole star of your attention. This litter was born in care, and Ria is one of the six girls of this litter (that also has three boys). Ria is currently just 3 months old and 21 pounds, and we think she may be a Black Mouth Cur/Boxer mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess!
