Hi there! This special girl is Violet <3 . She is one of our favorite dogs here at the shelter! Honestly, one of us would have likely taken her home by now, but she likes cats just a little too much, and we all have cats! Violet loves to go for walks, chase balls, and play with her people. Don't let her age fool you, she is still so full of love and life! Once she is done playing, she simply wants to cuddle up and watch T.V with you! We recommend a home without small children, only because of how excited Violet gets when she sees people-she loves to jump around and may knock them over. If you have older kids, she would be fantastic with them and likely wear them out for you ;-).  Someone please come give this senior girl a Furever home OR a temporary foster until we find the right fit for her. It simply isn't fair for such a sweet senior girl to be stuck in a shelter. She just needs a home where she will be the only pet. I promise you won't regret it! She is a top-notch girl with a sweet personality <3. We know you will love her just as much as we do! December 15, 2025, 6:24 pm

  Lower Fees. Adoption $150.00, Transport: $100.00  DeeDee is one of our special Hope dogs, a program that you can read about here: https://www.crossingpathsanimalrescue.org/adopt/hope-dogs. She is a Black Mouth Cur mix who is about 2 years old and was surrendered back in April. While she has had fun meeting new friends and showing off all her cool tricks, she's quite ready to find her new parents. DeeDee will do best in a home where she can be active. She already knows a wide range of commands but is always up for learning more. PS She has a wonderful recall too! She has gotten along well with every dog she has met at the shelter. She currently has some kennel mates and LOVES them.  (posted 9/22/25, HOPE)  Adoption Fee:  $150 plus a $100 transport fee, as noted in the listing.        September 22, 2025, 9:22 am

I`m Walnut, the super pooch! My life was an adventure before I landed here. I was just a curious pup exploring the world with my sidekick Cashew. One day, I spotted a dog pestering a neighborhood. I`m not a fan of big dogs, but I knew I had to step up. Using my superpower - the irresistible `Puppy Eyes`, I distracted him long enough for the Animal Control to swoop in. My bravery led me here, where I`m now known as the `Mellow Hero` (outside the kennel). I may not wear a cape, but I`ve got a heart full of love and a never-ending appetite for treats. If you`re looking for a loyal companion who can make everyday feel like a comic book adventure, look no further. Adopt me, and let`s write our superhero story together!
