Meet Buddy! SEE STRAYCATION UPDATES BELOW! HOUSE-TRAINED & WOULD LOVE A FURRY FRIEND! This 3-year-old, 50-pound black mouth cur/pug mix is the definition of endearing! Before coming to GLDR, Buddy spent some time in a foster home and they just raved about how wonderful he is! They learned so much about him and we are so excited to share with it you. He also enjoyed a brief straycation so we have even more to share! The king of cuddles-Buddy is all about the love. He absolutely loves hanging with other pups and did well with them in his previous foster home. We feel he'd do best in a home with a canine companion. If you're looking for a furry pal for your pup, you've found your man! Buddy has become more and more affectionate since he's arrived and we just can't get enough of this lover boy! The moment you bust out the toys, he's ready for a good time! Fetch is his absolute favorite and you'll often find him carrying his favorite ball around. He has the most adorable tap dancing hops he does during playtime and it will bring a smile to anyone's face. He's also house-trained and knows how to use a doggie door. He has been given free roam while in foster and did well. Buddy likes going on walks and is very food-motivated! He is admittedly a little overweight so we are looking for a family to help keep him active and healthy. He rides well in the car and is ready to join you on your adventures. His foster family said he's very quiet and did well spending time with kids as well. Buddy will benefit from continued training, daily exercise, and a yard to enjoy in his new home. At the end of the day, Buddy sleeps quietly through the night. Based on our evaluation, we feel Buddy will do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. He may have the ability to live in a home with other animals as he has done well with them in his foster home. We are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby. Continued basic training will be needed, including leash skills, crate training, potty training, and everyday manners. With a growing body and a busy brain, puppies need structure, enrichment, and positive outlets for energy to prevent overstimulation, mouthiness, or the development of unwanted habits. A home committed to consistency, patience, and mental and physical exercise will help Winnie grow into a confident, well-balanced adult dog. With the right foundation, the possibilities are endless! 💛🐶 -Around 5 months old -Currently 30lbs -Good with kids, cats and dogs -Adoption fee: $350 This dog is currently housed at our shelter. Hey everyone, meet JoJo! Do you love snacks? Then look no further, because this girl right here, was meant for you. Breakfast, mid-morning, lunch, mid-afternoon, dinner, midnight snacks are always welcome. This sweet girl has been in a loving home but due to a loss in the family and change in living circumstances, Miss JoJo finds herself looking for another one. She has not been around cats of small children, but has a naturally sweet disposition and gentle temperament. As a predominantly inside dog, JoJo is house trained but is used to spending time outside in a fenced yard. She has a playful personality and has played well with the other small dog that has lived with her. Please consider giving Miss JoJo a forever home to live out the best years of her life.
