WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Pacaya - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! I am an athletic little lady from Central America, named for the volcano where I was found. I love to run around having a grand ole time and would make a great companion for an active individual or family that loves to hike or as a jogging pawtner!! Are you training for a 5K and need a running companion? I am your gal!! Are you and your family out hiking and exploring on the weekends? Again, you need to look no further for canine companionship! But, wait, there's more!! I also enjoy sitting on the couch and watching TV with my Hoomans :) Nothing better than a belly rub and an ear scratch after a fun day full of activities! :) I am not overly hyper, anxious, or high strung, I just enjoy the outdoors but I also love my down time with my family!! Sleeping on my doggie bed under the fan sure beats the volcanic rock of my youth! Just a little about my youth; I was born on the side of the Pacaya volcano in Guatemala. One day, a lady from Hay Dude Rescue came to hike the volcano with her family. I introduced myself by doing my "good dog" tricks; sit, shake hands, and don't jump up!! Through lots of red tape (including quarantine) we found ourselves at the Houston airport!! God Bless America!! I am so grateful to be here and for the love, food , and care that I receive...and it shows on my face and my appreciative attitude. At 2 years old and 35ish svelte pounds, I am in the prime of my l life and am seeking my permanent Hooman family. I get along great with all people and dogs and I'm already house trained! I am joy filled at every aspect of life and communicate that joy through my loving nature and accommodating personality. My clear, bright eyes sparkle with intelligence and understanding. I understand a lot of human speak and pay attention to my people and surroundings. If you are looking for an intelligent, fun loving and active companion, I am that gal!!

Noel came from a family that got way over their heads with the number of dogs in their care. With 21 dogs in the house and very few visitors Noel didn't have much exposure to what it means to be a good doggy companion. She has spent the last couple months learning from the pack and is making great progress. She is a beagle, mountain cur mix so all hound. She is 45lbs and about 18 months old. She has a surprisingly deep bark for her size but doesn't bark often. She should be crated at night to avoid accidents. She is slow to trust but very loving once she realizes she isn't going to be hurt. She is good with cats and other dogs, just needs a slow introduction. Adoption Fee: $360. All our dogs are microchipped and up-to-date with age appropriate shots.

Even though it's the end of Summer, flowers still bloom like in Spring! Meet our latest budding rose, Suzie! Suzie is female, medium-sized (20-59#) Black mouth cur mix. She is kind of like SUPERMOM!! Suzie was saved from under a house where she had 14 PUPPIES!! And SHE LOVED EACH AND EVERY ONE!! She was an AMAZING MOMMA!! She took amazing care of her pups and they have all gone on to their FUREVER homes! You can see WHY she deserves a nice soft place to land! She did her work, now it's HER turn to be spoiled for a change! :) Suzie is the sweetest little gumdrop around the block! Her ears are always perked up listening for fun to be had and she always has a smile on her face! Suzie is good with cats, dogs, and children but should be given patient and careful introductions to any and all new family members. Suzie is also crate trained. Suzie has been treated for heartworms and IS available for adoption! adoption donation : $699 weight 18 lbs Age: 3 months  as of 8/25   Meet our adorable Andy Griffith puppies—Andy, Barney, Thelma Lou, Helen and Aunt Bea—these are adorable, sweet and gentle puppies that were found as strays in a rural town outside of Tupelo Mississippi. W.A.G.S. took them in and the two boys and three girls have thrived, spending their days romping and playing together and then snuggling in a great big puppy pile to nap.   The puppies are all fully vaccinated and available to travel from Mississippi to loving homes the weekend after Labor Day.   Andy was a little shy at first, but has come out of his shell, now he is just as friendly and active as his sister. He loves toys and bones and get along great with all the dogs at the rescue. Andy is doing well potty training but will need additional guidance while he adjusts to a new home. Like any puppy Andy needs a family dedicated to giving him the structure and training he needs to grow up to be the very good boy we know he can be.      Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs. Wags desperately need to raise funds to help the sick and older dogs at the rescue. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use.
