Story
Ray Bay is a wonderful puppy who has a larger-than-life personality with a curiosity that knows no bounds.   This puppy who was found with his 3 siblings in the middle of a desolate rural Tennessee area, is the biggest of all personalities in his litter and as well he is the largest of the size!  Although they were found roaming on a back road highway in Tennessee, these pups are far from wanderers and have quickly settled into knowing their foster home rules and expectations.  This group of Black Mouth Cur puppies will never leave your side!  They have been with small children, cats, other dogs, cows, and birds (Guinea us and chickens) and aside from an initial curiosity they are overall passive about other animals and kids!   Ray Bay is 34 pounds at just 4 months of age and will be much larger boy than his siblings.  He will most likely top out at 70- pounds and will be the most handsome boy ever!   If you are interested to know more and fill out an application, please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and will send you an application.  Please tell us FIRST where you live, city and state. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 10, 2024, 9:09 am

Story
Now some of you youngsters might now remember the name… Little Jimmy Dickens.  He and Brad Paisley had a very special bond where Brad looked up (or down) at this little man who forged an unbelievable legacy in the country music world.  He was not even 5 foot tall but his spirit and his heart was a giant Red Oak.  But just like this short country music legend called Little Jimmy Dickens, this puppy named after him, has a much smaller stature than his siblings and doesn’t lack in personality or intelligence!  He will grow to be a 50-60 pound adult dog.  He is currently almost 3-4 months and well on his way to the ability to be potty trained and trained quickly.  Although these 4 pups were found roaming on a back road, they are far from wanders and have quickly settled into knowing their foster home rules and requirements to live harmoniously! These pups are not roamers or runner risks, but they never leave your side! They have been with small children, cats, other dogs, cows, and birds (guineas and chickens and are just best friends) and aside from an initial curiosity, Little Jimmy and his sibs are overall passive about other animals and kids!   If you would like to make this handsome easy going boy your family companion for the next 15+ years…then email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and ask for an application once you have given  them the location of where you live?  City and state. Story
Johnny Cash, like the man in Black who is big in stature and in heart, is who we named this Black Mouth Cur mix puppy.  He is our big/little guy who is mild mannered, charismatic, and has a beautiful personality that is as great as his looks. Although this litter of 4 pups were found roaming on a back road in rural Tennessee, these pups are far from wanders and have quickly settled into knowing their foster home boundaries and requirements to be foster pups! They never leave your side and is exactly what Johnny Cash does!   Sticks to you like glue.  These pups are living on a small mini farm and they have experienced small children, cats, other dogs, cows, and birds (guineas and chickens) with only an initial curiosity that has demonstrated an overall passive attitude about other animals and kids!  Johnny Cash is about 4 months old and 20 pounds and he is going to be a 55-60 pounds adult boy who can be a farm dog…a city slicker and a lover all rolled in to one.  He is very versatile with his personality and how to fit in.  If you would like to know more please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 10, 2024, 9:09 am

Story
Meet Arizona! This sassy lady has gone from street dog to (mostly) sophisticated, and is looking for a forever home of her own. Ari came to us as a stray who was found roaming a highway on her own. She had teats full of milk, and was showing signs she had given birth in the past 24 hours. Staff members went out to where she was found, and spend hours searching the area with Arizona as their guide, but sadly her lost litter of puppies was never found. Since then, Zona has settled into our little shelter family like she's been here forever. Arizona has the most upbeat and happy outlook, but she does tend to have severe anxiety during storms. She is a black mouth cur mix, born roughly 1/1/23, and she weighs in about 60-65lbs. She is the spunkiest lady, she loves life and loves everything about playing and making friends. She spends lots of time in play groups and socializing with other dogs, and would do great in a home with another pooch. Of course, we do require a meet and greet if you already have any at home. She does great with kids too, and is already learning her name, walking well on a leash, and working on her basic obedience.  Arizona is fully vetted, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $175. Interested? Call us at 615-446-7387. ##1945558##

Story
Meet Tito! Hey, my name is Tito! I am a black mouth cur mix, and I was born somewhere around 8/1/22. I only weigh in at about 44lbs, but I am so tall you won't notice how little I am. I am built to explore, I l love going on walks and sniffing the outdoors! My friends here at the shelter sometimes tease me because sometimes I look at you like you stole my favorite snack, when all I really want is to get some attention. They keep telling me if I always look so worried, my face will stick like that! I think I'm okay with that, because they give me extra love and kisses when I look nervous. Speaking of nervous, have you ever seen a hardwood floor? Those things are wild! I don't like how my paws can't get a grip on them, so you may see me slipping and sliding if you have really slick floors. I also really like other dogs, but I would want to meet one before I commited to living with them. I don't really mind cats, and kids are great, too! Tito is fully vetted and microchipped, but not yet neutered. His adoption fee is $!75 + a refundable $75 neuter deposit. Interested? Call us at 615-446-7387. ##2011708##
