We actually did not expect him to survive, let alone heal to a point of being adoptable. He was in heart failure with extreme fluid retention on intake due to heartworms. He Is now heartworm free and no longer in heart failure but he does have a permanently enlarged heart and he will be on meds for the rest of his life. He Is such a happy guy. He loves everyone and just wants to run and play. He would love someone who enjoys going for walks but also a comfy couch where he can relax too! Adoption fee is $200.

Mario is the sweetest guy who loves to have room to run and show off his speed with his zoomies. He’s a big boy and his biggest downfall is he does jump when he’s excited but we’re working on it. He knows some basic commands and has been tested in our ‘mock apartment’ and does great! He loves the ladies but not all male dogs.
