Story
Dyson was found all by himself at just a few weeks old! He was taken to a small city shelter until rescue found him and brought him to a foster home. He has a long tail, floppy ears and the coolest markings - long eye lashes, muscular legs and a short coat. His breed mix is a guess - but from his paws - he will be a BIG boy. Shy at first, he plays well with other puppies and big dogs. He follows people and likes to nap close to his foster mom. Microchipped, now Neutered, Up to Date on vaccines and on prevention. Crate trained, doing great with routine -no accidents in the house- at just 4 months old! Story
Meet Harmony, a young Black Mouth Cur mix whose name perfectly captures her gentle spirit and easygoing nature. Weighing 35 pounds, she brings warmth, balance, and a steady calmness wherever she goes. Harmony is currently being fostered in a loving home in New Braunfels, TX, but she is eligible for transport to approved adopters in the Pacific Northwest and Northeast United States. This sweet girl is as well-mannered as she is affectionate. Harmony is fully potty trained, kennel trained, and leash trained, making her an easy fit for a wide range of households. She’s very dog friendly and loves having canine companions around. In her foster home, she enjoys keeping an eye on her dog friends and will happily trot over to check in if she hasn’t seen them—or her people—in a few minutes. She simply wants to make sure everyone is safe and accounted for. Harmony has a lovely balance of curiosity and calm. During the day, she likes staying busy, exploring the yard, or quietly observing household activities. But when it’s time to relax, she settles right in. One of her favorite things is being near her humans, whether that means resting at your feet, following you from room to room, or curling up beside you for quiet companionship. Her gentle loyalty and steady presence make her feel like a constant source of comfort. With her affectionate personality and attentive nature, Harmony will make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a devoted companion. She’s ready to find her forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and truly part of the family every step of the way. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Meet Ranger Howie, a 6-month old Black Mouth Cur mix with the brains and heart of a future top recruit. This brave little soldier had a rough start, but he’s making huge strides in his training. Howie has already mastered “sit,” loves to play fetch, and after his puppy zoomies fade, he’s a surprisingly chill and easygoing boy. He’s fearless around horses, unfazed by loud noises, and enjoys weekly “training missions” at doggy daycare where he learns from the best and plays with his fellow recruits. Howie is non-aggressive and even respectful toward cats, though he’s still learning they don’t always want to play. He’s working on potty training, crate training, and basic manners — all part of his journey to becoming a well-trained gentleman. Smart, eager to please, and quick to learn, Howie just needs a patient, loving family to guide him to his full potential. He loves car rides and sits calmly in the back seat like a true professional on patrol. With plenty of toys, playtime, and affection, Ranger Howie will grow into the loyal, dependable companion every family dreams of. Could your home be his next command post? To apply directly for Howie, push the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-753 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org.
