🤎🐾 Winny Is Waiting for a Gentle Kind of Love 🐾🤎 Winny is a 2–3-year-old, 55-pound tan lab mix — with maybe a little bloodhound sprinkled in for those amazing ears and that soft, soulful expression. One look at her sweet face and you can tell: this girl feels deeply. She’s incredibly gentle and loving, with the softest coat and the kind of calm presence that makes walks easy and peaceful. Winny loves to explore at her own pace and will do just about anything for a treat — taking them oh so gently, every single time. She already knows sit and clearly has known life as a loved pet in a home before. Because of her past, Winny can be a little hesitant around some men. But once she trusts you? She gives you her whole heart. 💕 She may do best with a female owner or with someone willing to take a little extra time — coming to visit her, moving at her pace, and letting that bond grow naturally. Winny may do well with another dog, and a calm, confident male could be a great match — but meet-and-greets are always required to make sure everyone is comfortable. That said, she would be perfectly content being your one and only, soaking up all the love for herself. Winny isn’t looking for someone in a rush. Meet Hemi! This handsome guy was an owner surrender at not fault of his own with his son Roscoe. Unfortunately their previous owners living arrangements changed and could no longer keep them. We do have Roscoe and Hemi as a bonded pair but we are not requiring them to be adopted out together, but if we could get them out together that would be great. Hemi is a lot different personality wise than Roscoe is, Hemi is very confident with himself. Just like his son Roscoe, Hemi loves the water and loves walks. He also really loves boat rides. Hemi did live in a home with kids and a cat and did great with them. Hemi also will sound his own alarm and is a vocal boy. We had a generous person donate towards the care of Roscoe (Redbone coon hound mix, 40lbs a year old) and Hemi (Redbone Coon hound, 62lbs, just over a year and a half). They were both Neutered today, they received their rabies shot, and they are both heartworm negative. They went to Richmond Animal Richmond Animal League today for their care (Thank you RAL for taking great care of them) and the wonderful staff at RAL said they were both on their best behavior and just as sweet as ever. Hopefully this donation towards their vet care will help these 2 get adopted. They are both absolutely beautiful and sweet as can be. Must see in person. Big thank you to Salem's Light for covering the rest of the surgery fees. You guys are amazing
