Story
The Heart of Dixie  came to us from an owner who could no longer keep her. This is a nice, friendly girl who is good with people & other dogs. She is very sweet, happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her birth date is 12/22/19 and she currently weighs approx. 125#. This girl is reported as house trained! She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. She is heart worm & tick born illness negative. Her adoption donation is $400 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. We do not ship or transport.Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with her forever home. ##2407458##

Ready To Roll Rufus came to us from a kill shelter in Indiana where he ended up by no fault of his own. This is a nice, friendly boy who is good with people & other dogs. He is very sweet & happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His approx. birth date is 10/10/23 and he currently weighs 96#. This guy is all hound with the bark he should have. He needs an experienced home with the patience to let him be the hound he is. This is a lot of dog.He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. As this is a Home-to-Home animal you are not required to fill out an Anti-Cruelty Society adoption application form. ***Beau is a two-year-old bloodhound who is 90 pounds is very playful and yes, is two years old so still a bit of a puppy when it comes to chewing on occasion. loves to play with kids. would do best in a home as an only pet as he does have a high prey drive so being around cats and other small animals is not the best. he does not do the best around other dogs and is very excitable. We have done a training class to combat his excitement, but still could benefit from additional training. he is on heartworm prevention, neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. He is crate, trained housebroken, knows “sit, come and off” and loves to play fetch with his Kong. He would love to sleep in your bed. No health issues!
