Meet Bumper! Bumper is a big, lovable 5-year-old with an even bigger personality. This sweet and energetic guy truly enjoys being around people and soaks up attention whenever it’s offered. He’s affectionate, generous with kisses, and happy to spend time with his humans, whether that’s hanging out together or heading outside for some fresh air and adventure. Bumper loves being outdoors, especially when he can put his nose to work and explore all the interesting scents around him. Sniffing is one of his favorite activities, and he also enjoys playing with toys when it’s time to burn off some energy. He brings enthusiasm to everything he does, which makes life with him fun and engaging. On leash, Bumper is very strong and may pull at times, especially when he notices animals or something interesting at a distance. He can become vocal and focused in those moments, so walks will benefit from continued structure and training to help him feel more settled. Bumper is also a curious guy who sometimes puts that curiosity to work by checking out counters or the trash, so he’ll do best with clear boundaries and a home ready to manage his size and cleverness. Bumper has done well with kids he’s met, though his large size means supervision is important, as he can accidentally knock someone over in moments of excitement.
