Meet Duncan! This very handsome bloodhound mix came to us from another shelter and is estimated to be around 5 years old. This 100-pound guy loves spending time outdoors and eating as many treats as he can! He gets along well with other dogs and follows his nose wherever he goes. Duncan is a lover, medium energy, and independent! He has all the bloodhound qualities that hound lovers know and love! He would be a great addition to any household looking for a big, squishy, outdoor-loving companion! We promised Duncan that the rest of his life, would be the best of his life. Hank is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves cuddles, calm walks, and being near his people. He thrives in a structured, peaceful home and bonds deeply with those he trusts. However, Hank has a history of resource guarding—mainly around food—which has occasionally led to biting. With a new baby at home, his protective instincts have become difficult to manage safely. We’re seeking an adult-only home with experienced dog owners who understand behavioral challenges and can provide a calm, predictable environment. Hank should be the only pet and needs someone committed to continuing his training. He’s not a “bad” dog—just one who needs the right home to thrive. If you or someone you know could offer Hank the safe, loving home he deserves, please reach out. ❤️

Layla came to us an 8 mo. old puppy. Supposedly she was a greyhound puppy. We have done a DNA test on her and there is "NO" greyhound in this girl, but every other type of hound. She is sweet, but MUST have at least a 6 ft. fence. She has been walked on leash ever since she came to us because her adopter has a 4 ft fence, The adopter has reached an age where she can no longer handle her. This is a very strong girl. She has lived with at least 3-4 greyhounds since she came to our group. She does have motion sickness, so Cerenia is recommended for her when traveling..
