HANK the Tank NEEDS A HOME!!! He NEEDS his person!!!! I can't continue to give him the time he really needs. He is a big strong, young goofball that NEEDS HIS PERSON!!! He is SMART, friendly, exuberant, and has a big hound voice. He was great meeting kids at the vet's office, and non-reactive to the cats in large cages, just curious. Up to date on all vaccinations and preventative. He needs a home that loves big goofy pups (not quite 2 years old). He has some manners, but needs someone with more time to devote to him, take him for rides, walks, play, and big snuggles watching tv. He is a COMPANION DOG, not a hunter!! HANK NEEDS A GOOD LOVING HOME! Please come meet him!! ARE YOU HIS NEW FAMILY? SHARE IF YOU KNOW OF A GOOD HOME, PLEASE!!!

Story
Gable was rescued from a local pound moments before his euthanasia date. He is a gentle giant who loves the company of people. He is passive towards other dogs and cats. Gable has mild separation anxiety and rightfully so; it is evident he was once loved in the past, and he is desperately looking for his second chance. Gable will need to be supervised until he has built trust in his owners that he will not be abandoned once again, as he gets anxious when he suspects he is being left behind. This sweet soul means no harm and would love to meet your family. He does wonderful on a leash and has great manners. Come meet Gable today! UPDATE Nov 2025: Gable is amazing with all other animals. He has met 4 different dogs and it was love at first sight. He does great in his kennel and knows when to go in/out. He is very polite aside from jumping when he gets excited. Gable would love to be your next family member!
