Story
Butch Jr. is a 20-month-old Bloodhound mix with a calm, easygoing personality that makes him an absolute joy to be around. True to his breed, he has that classic soulful expression and gentle nature, but what really stands out about Butch Jr. is how relaxed and steady he is in just about any situation. He’s the kind of dog who enjoys the simple things—lounging nearby, taking in all the interesting scents on a walk, and spending quiet time with his people. While Bloodhounds are known for their incredible noses, Butch Jr. balances his curiosity with a laid-back demeanor that makes him easy to handle and a great companion for a more relaxed household. Butch Jr. is friendly and approachable, with a sweet disposition that helps him bond quickly with new people. He would thrive in a home that appreciates his calm energy and gives him the love and companionship he deserves. Whether he’s stretching out for a nap or strolling by your side, Butch Jr. is a loyal, gentle companion ready to be someone’s best friend. Butch Jr. is 63 lb, neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and ready to go to his forever home. He is currently being fostered in Houston, but can travel to many states as well as Canada to the perfect home. Yards, if any, must be adequately fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept underground or invisible fences. To meet this sweet boy via video chat or in person, send an application available at www.savesomesouls.com

Story
Unfortunately, our family's financial situation has changed, and we are unable to give our dogs the medical care that they need. Ruby is a 7-year-old Great Dane/Bloodhound mix (80lbs), and Ben is an almost 4-year-old Belgian Malinois/Shepherd Mix (60lbs). Ben is quite attached to Ruby, and we would love them to be adopted together but understand that is a big ask. We have had both dogs since they were puppies. Ruby is good with other large dogs, kids and people. Due to her high prey drive, she would not be good in a house that has small animals. Ruby has had anal gland issues her whole life and requires special food & will need to have her anal glands expressed monthly. She has an anal growth that needs surgery to be removed- an expense we cannot afford. Ben takes a while to warm up to people and would be good with older kids. He cannot be around other dogs at all. Ben has seasonal allergies and requires prescription meds ($90/mo) for the spring. Both are UTD on rabies, fixed&chipped.
