Meet Jasper
At 9 years old and a whopping 150 pounds, Jasper is proof that great things come in extra-large packages! This handsome Bloodhound/Lab mix turns heads everywhere he goes, although with his unique coloring, we suspect there may be a little mystery mixed into his family tree as well.
Jasper is the total package when it comes to manners and companionship. He's house-trained, gets along well with other dogs, is good with cats, and has been wonderful with children. His easygoing personality makes him a welcome addition to just about any family looking for a loyal best friend.
Don't let his age fool you. While Jasper appreciates a good nap as much as the next senior gentleman, he's still an active guy who loves being outdoors. Hiking trails, exploring new scents, stretching his legs on a walk, or simply spending time outside are some of his favorite things. If you're looking for a companion to join you on your outdoor adventures, Jasper is ready to go.
Jasper is being rehomed due to significant changes in his family's circumstances. They love him dearly, but with a new medical diagnosis in the household and lifestyle changes that require extended time away from home, they feel he deserves a family that can give him the time, attention, and activity he enjoys.
What Jasper wants most is simple: a family to love, a comfy place to rest after a day of adventures, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.
If you're looking for a gentle giant with a kind heart, loyal spirit, and a nose that could probably find a snack from a mile away, Jasper may be the perfect addition to your family.
